Oct 20, 2024 · Laura AbbottWhat an absolutely wonderful, warm, and cozy place to stay. We felt right at home. We were greeted by the owners upon our arrival, quick and easy check in. The library offered a wonderful place to work remotely. The WIFI was speedy, we were able to log in remotely to work as if we were sitting right at our desk. Bedrooms were perfect, with really comfortable king size beds. Even a little day bed to relax on. The hose was decorated for the holiday season, stunning. Breakfast was waiting for us in the morning and was out of this world. 1812 House is a treasure, can’t wait to book my next trip.
Dec 14, 2023 · Ockenblock77I would highly recommend the 1812 House to anyone! Chris and Sheila made our son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner absolutely exquisite. They paid attention to every detail to make sure that the evening went exactly as planned, and the meal was incredibly delicious. The bridal party stayed overnight and prepared for the wedding there also, and once again, we were not disappointed. Not only is the house a stunning setting for pictures, but the brunch that Chris and Sheila made for the girls was beautifully presented and delectable. Our time spent in the 1812 house only added to the memorable wedding weekend and made it so special. Thank you to Chris and Shelia for providing top notch service and food with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
