I am part of Marriott's bonvoy titanium elite loyalty status and recently chose to stay with AC Hotel Downtown in their junior corner suite with a balcony with my husband. Since we didn't land till midnight, when we got to the hotel, there was no line for checking in. Therefore, we got a friendly and fast check-in with some details of the hotel (e.g. their rooftop bar, pool, etc.). Lets talk about the room first. The room was mediocre for the price we were paying. The dining table is attached to the wall, which was also very small for the size of the room. We also had to move the sofa ourselves in order for us to be able to sit on the second chair for the dining table. The hotel can definitely improve on the cleanliness as we found leftover balloons on the floor. The flushing for the toilet and the shower water was very weak. The TV in the bedroom reaction was very slow but the living room worked great. However, the button to keep the TV on does not work. So you will have to restart it regardless. My favorite thing about the room was definitely the size, the balcony, and the view. My next favorite thing about the hotel was the pool. It is crowded during the day, but at night you can get a peaceful swim in. First night, the hot tub worked great but second night the jets were weak (not sure why). So don't have too high of an expectation. As a titanium elite, I also had $20 food and beverage credit for every night of my stay. Because I landed in Nashville so late, the hotel kitchen was already closed. So the next day, I decided to use my $40 (stayed 2 nights for the first reservation). However, the front desk only honored $20 because they apparently needed separate bills (but was never mentioned to me before). If they told me, I could have asked the kitchen to make two bills (and it would have been the same). So elites be aware!! For my final night, I wanted to finalize my bill beforehand, but they said they won't even put in adjustment until I hand them my keys to check out. I'm not sure why it was such a problem? The charge was already there. Do I not get my credit because I wanted to settle the bill earlier? This is the first time I had such an issue.... but no big deal. Lastly, the night before my checkout , I asked to get a late checkout at 2:30pm because my flight was early evening. They agreed and said it was put into the system. However, even with the DND sign, 11:10am I got my first knock. Before I could even get to the door, he already unlocked and was about to come into the room... and I was getting ready to shower. At 1pm, even with the DND sign, I got my second knock, interrupting my nap. At this point, I just got up, finished packing and left. So, elites, if you ever plan to have a late checkout here and won't be in the room, lock up ur valuables as they will just walk right in. They said they value their elites but definitely didn't feel any of it during this hotel stay. So would I go around recommending this hotel? No, not really. They have a lot to work on. But if you do decide to stay here, I hope you receive a better experience.

May 01, 2025 · Gwen CExcellent hotel. Very clean and staff is fantastic. Christopher was the manager on duty during our stay, and was wonderful to work with. Blaine was our valet and provided excellent and personable service. Will be staying here every opportunity we have to revisit downtown Nashville.

May 12, 2025 · Brandie ThomasReview for AC Hotel I had an extremely disappointing experience at the AC Hotel. From the moment I checked in, there were multiple issues. The first room I was given was not clean and had mold around the sink and shower. I was moved to another room, only to find hair in the shower and sink. After yet another room change, I expected better, but the worst part of my stay was yet to come. On my last day, after attending a game, I returned to find that my purse had been stolen from the trunk of my car while it was in valet parking. This was a high-end designer bag containing cash, credit cards, and my ID. The theft is currently under investigation, but the fact that it happened while my car was in the hotel’s care is completely unacceptable. Between the poor cleanliness, multiple room changes, and the theft from valet, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and absolutely not what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. I strongly advise others to be cautious when staying here.
Mar 17, 2025 · Juanita MaloneGreat stay at this hotel. You can't beat the location - it is walking distance to several restaurants and Broadway Street. The rooms were very clean and the pool was fabulous. I also left a hang up bag with a ton of clothes and they shipped it back to me with no problem the next day!
