We never tend to write reviews but when you are continuously disappointed by the things you run into, we like to let other people know. When we first walked in, we were charged $50 to check-in early. While this has come to be a thing at some hotels, if I’m paying $50 to check in early I am expecting for the hotel’s standard to match the same at least. Our Marriott status was not acknowledged, fine that happens. Going up to our room, the hallways smelled of chlorine and visible deterioration was seen on the walls. Our hotel room was a different story, upon first impression everything seemed fine until you start paying attention to things. The shower leaks into the bathroom leaving a puddle, the shower handle to turn on was about to fall off, and there was barely any water pressure. On the other side of the wall, you can evidently see mold that was sealed up as it seems the water would also spill into the carpet of the room itself. The lamp above the bed was holding on by some clips with the fear of falling onto the bed in the middle of the night. The bed sheets had stains and rips on them. To add to all this, we were charged someone else’s room purchase to our room. To my understanding, you need to verify the information of the room before proceeding and it being charged to the room. Although the purchase was only $6.72, it is ridiculous to be charged when the proper steps weren’t taken as well as the fact that we weren’t even in the hotel at that time. The hotel left much to be desired and unfortunately we regret spending our one night here and paying so much when it was definitely not worth it. Never thought $50 would hurt so much in addition to the room rate. We are now writing this review despite staying on April 1st as we wanted the hotel to make the $6.72 right and to this day they still have not reimbursed it.

May 01, 2025 · Lucia & Charles EnamoradoI’m not one for reviews. However, I stayed here 2 weeks ago and never again… I had high hopes. I will start with the good. The location was perfect. The receptionist was very nice.. Now the bad. There was red sticky stuff on my bedding, the hallways were very worn with stains, the shower had mold, the bathroom had good light but the shower area was so dark and nasty. Only one elevator worked. The windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months. The landscape was awful, the pool had a weird film on the top… and lastly, if you sat on the edge of the bed it sagged. You had to sit in the middle for support. I will never stay there again; just completely felt gross staying there especially for paying 200.00 for 1 night.
May 25, 2025 · Linden CroweMy first time to the east coast was a huge success thanks to Aloft Arundel Mills. Everything from the shuttle service to the front desk hospitality to the comfortable rooms. Kaitlyn made check in so easy and welcomed us with a smile and an enthusiastic attitude. Special shoutout and thanks to the amazing shuttle drivers Carol and Michelle. After accidentally arriving at the wrong aloft hotel, Carol went out of her way to come pick us up and make sure we got to Arundel Mills. Along the way she gave us the whole rundown of what there is to do in the area, how to get around and where to eat. As somebody who is not familiar with the city life, this was greatly appreciated. And Michelle, at the end of a long touristy day to Washington DC, she picked us up from the train station in a very timely manner, was extremely friendly the entire ride and let us make a quick pit stop at the store before returning to then hotel. This is exceptional service and made the whole trip worth it!
Apr 29, 2025 · Megan QuastI stayed at this place on this past weekend since my home was getting some renovations. I checked in Saturday planning to rest until check out time on Sunday. I went to take a shower and the smoke detector went off, maintenance could not fix the problem—then they place a noisy fan in the room. Of course, no rest for me. Before leaving the toilet gets backed up. I am going to try and get some of my money returned for the inconvenience so much for getting some rest.
Jun 09, 2025 · Yultia ONealI enjoyed my stay at Aloft hotel. The staff was nice, helpful, and super friendly. Michelle the driver of the shuttle was especially nice she came to check on us at the restaurant to see if we were okay. Definitely would stay again.
