Can鈥檛 say enough about Alpine Garden and their staff. Upon checking in, we were immediately treated like family, and made to feel like much more than just guests. Our cabin was ready earlier than expected, and was extremely clean. The site was well kept, and the general store offered everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Bree was very helpful with recommending some amazing hikes and greeted us every morning with a smile. While Rich went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of (Guinness needs to be in a glass 馃槀). Our only regret is not staying longer, and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you so much for a refreshing and enjoyable stay.

Features: Glamping, Wine, and Local Charm

Alpine Garden Camping Village & Winery truly distinguishes itself through its unique combination of glamping accommodations and a working winery. The "glamorous camping" experience means guests can ditch their mattress pads and sleeping bags, instead enjoying comfortable beds and climate-controlled environments. The variety of accommodations鈥攆rom cozy "hobbit homes" for two to larger cabins and two-story treehouses for families鈥攃aters to diverse needs and preferences. Each unit is uniquely decorated, often with curated antiques and vintage items collected by the family, adding a touch of homey coziness.

The Alpine Garden Winery is a significant highlight. It produces natural wines and ciders in the style of P茅tillant Naturel ("P茅t-Nat"), focusing on minimal intervention processing. The fruit for the wines and ciders is grown locally, with grapes from their own vineyard in Bartlett, NH, and apples sourced from local orchards in New Hampshire and Maine. The wines and ciders are pressed and bottled in-house, offering a truly local and authentic tasting experience. The winery aims to return to the agricultural roots of winemaking, providing rustic, wild, and raw offerings that reflect the unique terroir of the White Mountains. The tasting room often hosts live music events, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The owners are committed to sustainable practices, with their vines never sprayed with pesticides, and a focus on transparency in their winemaking process.

Another key feature is the heated pool, which is a rare amenity at many glamping sites, providing a refreshing option for relaxation and enjoyment during the warmer months. The pet-friendly policy in some accommodations allows guests to bring their furry companions, making it an ideal choice for pet owners (with certain weight limits and restrictions).

I grew up in Bartlett and would typically stay with my parents when visiting home. After they moved, I would stay in generic hotel chains which work fine but don't give you an authentic feel of being in the Mt. Washington Valley. Alpine Garden however does exactly that, it makes you feel like you are camping while still having access to all the modern amenities you could hope for. The staff, cabin, location, and overall experience make this the only place I will ever stay in the valley on future trips.

I grew up in the area and wanted to visit Storyland with my daughter. Alpine garden was the perfect place to settle in, relax and prepare for the onslaught of stimulation to come. We stayed in one of the cabins, the attention to detail was really stunning and I was impressed by how well-equiped and comfortable the amenites were. The camp store has anything you may have forgotten plus other interesting stuff. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The pool is heated and very clean. There is also a winery right on the property which has some of the tastiest wines I have personally tried thus far. Great place, will return.

Magical Glamping in the heart of the White Mountains! Clean, peaceful, relaxing. Close to hiking, waterfalls, mountains, and sky. The cabin rooms are decorated with authentic and retro details. Heated swimming pool a beautiful rest stop. This is a great spot for all travelers, solo, family, or group meet-ups.

WOW! What an amazing way to enjoy the White Mountains. This family run business is run with such love and intention. From the necessary firewood, coffee and bug spray, to the extras like records available to borrow for the shop, they really thought of everything! The heated pool and comfy towels were the perfect way to cool off after hiking the nearby trails. Briana and her family were all so welcoming, each stopping to say hello and check on my stay anytime they passed by me. I stayed in the treehouse and really felt like I could have moved right in. The swing by the fire and the soaking tub were two of my favourite features. I would love to stay again for longer next time!
