Jun 09, 2025 · Daniel GrayThey charged me $20 to check in 20 minutes before guaranteed check in time.. that is ridiculous. The hotel was not even busy it was a Tuesday. I stayed a while ago in October. Never had that at a hotel before. I don’t expect much, but I’ve stayed at a different hotel branch that let me check in at noon at no extra cost. Room was clean, location was convenient, breakfast was nice.
Jun 01, 2025 · Noah PAbsolute nightmare with this place. Went to get my son’s bed ready on the pull out couch and we find a mattress that’s just covered in piss smelt terrible. Went to the front desk was told it’s sold out and when I asked for extra sheets for the bed was given attitude about them. Then received an email saying sorry the room wasn’t “cleaned to my expectations” I believe it’s against so many health codes! Asked for a refund but again was given attitude that we stayed the whole night so no refund will be given. Yeah it was sold out no wonder we stayed all night. If anybody can get me in contact with the owner Andy I’d love to chat and try and get my money back. Absolute terrible experience

Jun 15, 2025 · Jared RathsMy wife reserved a room for last minute change of plans. We had to come back to Waupun for her father’s funeral. We were going to stay with family, but something happened less than 12 hours before we had planned to leave from our home in another state. My was born and raised here. We even had stayed at the hotel before. I was looking on line the same time my wife was, because she called me during two of my kids school concert. She reserved a room told me she had it taken care of. I called the hotel back less than 3 minutes after she sent my the reservation. I wanted to upgrade to a suite since it was just like $11 dollars more. Due to our last minute change we had to bring our teacup poodle. I asked if it was possible to upgrade if they allowed it. They only allowed pets in the regular two queen bed rooms. I saw that they had ones with jetted tubs. It wasn’t a big deal really but since was same price , I asked if it could be switched even though we had the dog. I was informed yes they had one room with a jetted tub that they allowed ones with pets in. She confirmed she changed the rooms. The cost was the same along with $30 per night charge for a pet. I checked in with no problems at the desk they had the reservation checked in without a hitch Pulled van to the side my son got luggage cart. And we made two trips with luggage and other items we brought. The cart is just a basic cart so if you have things other than big flat suitcases it might be easier to just carry in by hand since the cart doesn’t have any hooks or anything to secure bags so consider just carrying stuff in. After unpacking I noticed the bathroom had small standard tub the tub was no more than13” from the ground. The caulk in the tub does have some orangey tinge to it, but it could be the grout I won’t say it is definitely mold or mildew. The beds are advertised as two queens they are full at best. In 5’6”. I don’t have a tape measure, but a queen is 60” or 5’. I measured with my body on the floor, putting the heel of my foot to the edge of the bed to the other it should have at the very least been around my chin. It ended below my neck. The beds aren’t really comfortable but that is minor they don’t state they will be comfortable. The pillows for the beds aren’t even standard size pillows they are square pillows basically like a couch pillow.. when’s I went to the desk to see if could at least get some more pillows I got one more square pillow. I decided to ask why I didn’t receive the room I reserved. I checked on Expedia it has the same amount of available rooms as the evening before. I explained there female receptionist knew about the dog there was no surprising. She started to say she didn’t know maybe they meant it was one of the upper floors. I informed her that she stated it couldn’t be one of the upper floors it had to be a ground floor one which she switched out room to. The night help don’t give an explanation or even apologize. I left a2 star because at least for the most part it’s not that dirty that I can see. I may change that when the sun comes out. Hopefully breakfast isn’t that bad. I’ve stayed at worse hotels with cockroaches crawling everywhere but I didn’t pay the price I paid their I knew what I was getting.I’m old school you screw up you apologize even if you can’t change it and if you say you do something or provide something you do it. It just made a bad situation circumstance with him passing even worse. I’m just glad I didn’t have one of my friends use their points to pay for the room.
