This cabin was a bittersweet experience for us. They tell you to show at the cabin at a certain time because it will be cleaned up and sanitized. When we showed up we saw multiple issues that weren’t obviously cleaned throughout the cabin. There was hair in the bathrooms, the shower curtain was filthy. The refrigerator was filthy. We had to clean the common areas, the refrigerator, and the bathrooms like if it was our own place, taking us about 2 hours of our time to get the place “ready.” Several light bulbs throughout the cabin were out. One of the ceiling fans in one of the rooms wasn’t working properly. The bathroom door in the upstairs room wasn’t closing properly. After speaking with the person in charge about what was going on, they sent the cleaning lady to the cabin to “clean”; after the lady left she lied on us telling the person in charge that we had more people in the cabin that what it was allowed. Not only did she fail to clean and sanitize the cabin as she was supposed to do, but she also went other way resourcing to lying on us the customers/guests. Now, aside for that issue we had on the first day; we loved our stay in the cabin. The view is amazing. It’s very quiet, very green, it’s just lovely. The cabin is located very high in the mountain and the drive up there is amazing. If it wasn’t for the bad experience we encountered, I would of given a 5 star to this review. The lady that’s in charge of cleaning and getting the person ready should be looking out for all the things that are going bad within the cabin instead of laying on the customers and doing such a poor job at cleaning.
