We've stayed at the Argos Inn multiple times, most recently in late March, and it remains one of our absolute favorite hotels—anywhere. Each room is beautifully designed and completely unique, with an impressive attention to detail that blends style and practicality. From the heated bathroom floors to the smart TVs loaded with Netflix, Hulu, and Max (because who wants standard hotel cable?), everything is thoughtfully considered. The service is consistently top-notch. We were greeted warmly at check-in, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The bar is a standout—gorgeous, with plush seating and a cocktail menu that’s both inventive and rooted in the classics. Huge kudos to the bartenders for their creativity and skill. In warmer weather, the outdoor patio is a perfect spot to unwind; we were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful evening out there. The shared spaces throughout the Inn are just as thoughtfully designed. From a cozy solarium with a communal table to a curated collection of books and games, everything invites you to relax. We especially appreciated the self-serve coffee and tea bar, a small but thoughtful touch that added to the homey vibe. While the Inn doesn’t have a restaurant, there's often a food truck parked out front on warm evenings. Plus, downtown Ithaca—with plenty of dining options—is less than a five-minute walk away. Pro tip: there’s a great bagel spot just a minute from the front door. 10/10. We can’t wait to return!

This is such a great place to stay in Ithaca - a welcome break (while still in an awesome location) from the cookie-cutter chain hotels downtown. The rooms are beautiful and fun - and great beds, too! The bar in the hotel has NYC-worthy cocktails for sure! Its a half block off the Commons so a perfect location for all of downtown Ithaca.

This is such a cute, well-designed inn! The drinks are pricey, and so are the rooms, but it's the sort of place you go to treat yourself. I was pleasantly shocked to discover the bathroom in my room had a HEATED FLOOR. Lol. I treated myself to the expensive room with a bathtub :) The espresso machine was delightful, and I enjoyed the fact that there are games and books in a cabinet on the second floor. I had a lovely stay.

Gorgeous and unique place to stay. Our room was pristine, staff were very helpful and professional. Most of the places we planned to go were a very quick walk away from Argos. The downstairs bar was funky with one of a kind cocktails and a relaxing vibe. Will definitely plan to return again next time we’re in the area!

Argos has the warmest staff, most cozy and interesting atmosphere, and the closest proximity to Ithaca’s city center. We loved our room. The whole place is tranquil during the day and vibrant yet chill at night. I highly recommend checking this place out.
