Jun 09, 2025 · Erica MccluskeyI was pleasantly surprised by this motel. I didn't look through all the photos so I thought this was a hotel. When we arrived and I saw it was a motel, I was a little nervous since a lot of times they aren't very clean. That was not the case at all, this was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the woman who was in the breakfast room was so sweet. It was a great experience overall.
May 26, 2025 · Sheri CozartWarning, if you stay in a pet friendly room, I think they automatically assume your home smells the same and you will not notice the horrible odor. My family and I were assigned room 101 and upon walking in, the room smelled so strongly that my children said they wanted to leave and find another place to stay. It was so bad that there were dark spots on the carpet and I feared that I would smell after being in the room for 30 minutes. I went to the front desk and the young man working there offered to give me some Febreze for the room. There were already Glade plug ins in the room that did not do the job of covering the smell. After being there for a few hours and my husband and children going to swim, they needed to shower. As they were taking turns showering, I was watching tv and a cockroach walked across the tv stand. We killed it and brought it up front. A different front desk worker, a young lady, working at the front desk apologized and quickly assigned us to a different room (106). It smelled much better (it had a faint dog urine smell, but nothing near as bad as the first room) and it seemed cleaner. We did not see any bugs. This is the first time my family and I have ever brought our dog to stay with us in a pet friendly hotel. I think in the future we will just board her while we are gone. I get that dogs would probably want to mark their territory in a room where other pets have been, but I watched my dog like a hawk to make sure she did not relieve herself on the floor. It should be a requirement that pet-friendly rooms have LVP floors that can be mopped and properly cleansed, rather than having nasty, soiled carpet. Also, I am not a big negative reviewer. This is the first time I have ever went to complain to the front desk about anything. I am usually pretty lucky about hotel stays and read reviews. I guess I didn’t do enough research on this place. It may just be that the pet friendly rooms are gross. But I will not be coming back to visit the non pet friendly rooms to check.
Apr 08, 2025 · Lindsay BanksThis hotel was in a perfect location for us. It's an older motel but it was clean. It can be a little noisy from the road noise at the intersection and from it being pet friendly, but it didn't bother us. The breakfast was standard but was good. Overall we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay.
Feb 17, 2025 · Amanda FreedenburgIf you have a choice, don't stay here. That simple. Air doesn't work well. Room stays hot. Outdoor pool not open or filled. Indoor pool murky with hair clumps. Beds hard and wayyyy too tall. You have to jump up on the bed. Breakfast mediocre. Bathroom the size of a closet. Seriously, don't if you have other choices.
