When I pay premium price for room. I expect everything to be in working order. Pool was closed, jets on the hot tub wouldn’t turn on. Too many hotels pull this, it now gets an automatic one star review when it happens. Do better. Edit. Management calling a customer “drunk”after leaving a bad review is completely unacceptable. I certainly wasn’t drunk. As you can see in the picture provided, the emergency shut off for the hot tub is standard. When you push the button, a very loud audible alarm “Should” come out of the speaker on the left. Since there was no noise, why in the earth would I check the shut off button?!?? Your equipment is faulty and you are blaming the customer?!? If a child has an accident, CLEAN IT UP. Finally, the room was in poor condition and still had some trash on floor when checking in. But I suppose that was just my imagination, due to my drinking problem. Avoid this location at all costs. Management is a joke. I will be calling corporate when my “buzz” wears off.

Aug 01, 2025 · fireballtpAfter traveling to South Dakota in a Camper we purchased new from Campers Inn RV of Kingston NH we needed a nice clean, cold room to sleep in due to the lemon RV. It has no AC and the plumbing leaks. Best Western gave us a clean/ comfortable worry free night of sleep as we travel back to MA, thank you! Don't purchase ANYTHING from Campers Inn!
Jul 28, 2025 · Derek MarkleWanted to stay here one night, and accidentally chose the wrong night which was incidentally the next day. Since I booked the room after 4pm, and the reservation was the next day I could not cancel and reschedule, I could not do anything. I called the hotel, they couldn't do anything. I called the reservation line, and they eventually got into contact of the General Manager for this hotel. I was told that they were rejecting any kind of compensation for fix for my mistake. That they were sticking to policy on the 24 hour cancellation period and just took my money and ran. Utterly ridiculous and a complete lack of understanding on part of the general manager. Would never recommend staying here if that's the attitude they have. Will definitely be re-booking elsewhere
Jul 23, 2025 · Jordan VolkmanI drive a bus and bring troops to Ft McCoy on a fairly regular basis. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the Sparta area but this one, by far, is the nicest one I’ve stayed in. The rooms are always clean, the breakfast is great and the front desk employees are wonderful! I always recommend this hotel to other drivers when they head up this way. Great place!
Apr 25, 2025 · Brenda YatesI booked and paid for 4 rooms for 2 nights in May of 2025, and had 2 other extended family members book rooms as well. We had a group of ~12 family members there for a County Park Dedication to our family, which included our 95 year-old aunt, multiple cousins in their 70's (including one currently battling cancer), and the youngest were 3 teens. I intentionally choose this hotel because it had a Pub space (which has been closed for over a year, and this was NOT noted on their web site) so we could "hang out" as a family, order pizza, and let some of our family members "rest" in their rooms since they no longer have the energy to be on-the-go all day. The staff (who seem absolutely FEARFUL of their Manager) would not let us use the EMPTY Breakfast area to gather our small group in the late afternoon, despite multiple inquiries and an offer to even pay to use the space. (Or pay for any other gathering space, like the empty Pub. We also said we would NOT bring in alcohol in case that was the issue.) The Manager was RELENTLESS with their "absolutely not" and while I understand they have had bad experiences with youth sports teams and their parents using this space, I couldn't believe that a group of 12 mostly 60-95 year-olds making a final "pilgrimage" to their home town would do so much damage? (And we offered to pay for the space!) We spoke with the Sparta Chamber of Commerce, who said "if this hotel was a member of our chamber, we would take care of this for you, but unfortunately they are a chain and are not. We ended up ordering take-out, and gathering folks in one of the rooms...it was very disappointing after a very lovely event for our family, many of whom traveled from all over the country to be in Sparta one last time.
