The best quality of this hotel is by far the location. The river view we had from our room was breathtaking. There appeared to be ample parking, at least for a weekday. The hotel lobby was nice and clean. They had hot coffee available and vending machines. The restaurant was nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent but the lady who ran it was so beyond helpful and friendly. It was presented very well. The pool my kids thoroughly enjoyed and I enjoyed the hot tub! The outdoor area with tables and games is a great idea. The rooms on the other hand are in DESPERATE need of a deep cleaning. It was so dusty and stuffy in the room. Our sinuses were all extremely bothered by the dust. I really hope they take this review and choose to take more time in each room to clean more than just the bathroom and beds. My son brushed a random surface and his arm was covered in dust and dust was floating all in the air. It is very outdated so if you’re looking for a hotel with more modern conveniences this isn’t it.

Apr 25, 2025 · Sarah GlissonThis hotel experience should've been better. The hotel has a nice location in the center of Marinette/Menominee on the river. And, the bed was comfortable. But, there were several small correctable inconveniences with our room: We were missing a nightstand on one side of the bed, the clock was plugged in but non-functional, and there were no sheers on the window, despite their being a rail for them. We also would have liked to have sit outside on the hotel's patio, but it seems to be used for storage rather than for guests. Patio furniture with stacked, garbage was on the patio, and it was generally not at all appealing. It feels like the staff here has given up on maintaining an aging 45-year-old hotel. For the price, this hotel was adequate, but there were many small ways it should've been better, in my opinion.
Jun 08, 2025 · Augie RayThe room was quite small for a queen room, and it had a microwave and decent fridge. TV sadly had no streaming sites. The bathroom was a little small. Great people, perfect spot to get to places quick, nice pool and hot tub. Also had a fitness center and a restaurant in main lobby.
Jun 21, 2025 · Tayler KorfmacherOn Saturday July, 19th 2025 we booked two hotel rooms through priceline. Upon arrival we were told that there was a computer error and the rooms were actually not available. They had one person working the front desk and nobody else on site. As the only person working he was unable to confirm if housekeeping cleaned rooms because they didn't sign them off. He also informed us that they had several rooms affected by a pipe leaking making the ceilings cave in. We contacted priceline as he was unable to refund us and priceline had to make contact with the hotel to confirm they approve our cancelation. With him being the only person working and a line of people he is explaining he has to turn away he was unable to answer the phone. We ended up leaving and staying at another hotel but the resolution was terrible and unprofessional. Ultimately priceline refunded us and now we have a nightmare story but I think this would sway my decision to stay at Best Western going forward, they didn't do anything to make it right and the poor guy at the front desk should have never been the only person in the building working.
Jul 21, 2025 · Sharon MarquardtHave had issues with being charged $900+ after telling the check in person the card was for one night and nothing else as they don’t accept cash. Have tried to contact the manager ( left message on the answering machine to her, as well as speaking to workers.) being told I’ll get a call back. Still no call back after 3 weeks. Also contacted corporate and was told I’d hear from someone 3-5 days. You guessed it no call. Be very wary if you choose this hotel.
