Beyond how dirty and understaffed this place was, the worst part about our experience was when they attempted to steal $250 from me. They charged my card for $250 AFTER releasing my security deposit. Management told the front desk staff that we stole a blanket. I wouldn’t have taken the blanket from that hotel for my dog to lay on. Upon checking into the room at 11:30 at night, it was clear the room had not been cleaned. The entire room was dirty including the bottom sheets on both beds which had smears and hair on them. The tops of the comforters (covered in flat sheets) were the only surfaces that did not have hair, crumbs or insects. So we took one comforter (covered in a flat sheet) from one bed and sandwiched ourselves between the tops of the blankets in the other bed. This was done in an attempt to try to sleep without touching the filthy bottom sheets. We left as soon as we could the following morning. Security deposit was released. Two days later my card was charged $250. We called multiple times asking why, the front desk staff informed us we were being accused of stealing a blanket and would need to speak to a manager. Conveniently the manager was never available. We called daily at the times we were told to call and no one in management would speak with us. Two things are happening here. They are stealing from customers. And/or if they really thought the blanket was missing, it is because whoever cleaned the room made a bed with two blankets on it and did not wash any bedding (obviously they aren’t getting washed ever). Anyway if you stayed for this whole rant, in summary, don’t stay here unless you enjoy the company of insects, sleeping in filth, being robbed, and having cold showers with no towels. Love you bye!

Apr 30, 2025 · Jamie GaryWonderful new staff. Pool and hot tube are open and fun for the family. Rooms clean and comfy. I absolutely adore the girls at the front desk they are super sweet and accommodating with wonderful personalities. Would definitely stay again.
Mar 21, 2025 · Kahteya MorrisThe ONLY reason I gave it 2 stars is because the pool was absolutely amazing and a great space for entertainment. So here is the rest of the story…. On march 15th, my family and I came to check in to spend one night at the hotel because we are originally from brevard (about 35 mins away) and we wanted to do something fun for our big family of kids ranging from ages 2-13. We come to check in about 2ish on March 15th and as I was checking in I notice a sign on the pool gate that said “pool closed for maintenance “ and I asked the receptionist what that was about and she just said that it was closed for the weekend which was never stated anywhere on the website or in my confirmation. It did confirm that the bar, the fitness room, and the restaurant was undergoing construction which is fine we just wanted to enjoy the pool… so I talked to her and we just decided to move the reservation 2 weeks out, the kids and I were super upset but it was okay because we are so close. So fast forward to March 29th at about 3:00 we come to check in and we went straight to the pool, stayed there for about 3 hours, went up to the room and changed then went to dinner. Came straight to the room from dinner and changed back into swimming attire and back to the pool we went. So after about 30 mins or so maybe longer I decided I was going to take my 2 year old up to the room and take a bath and get ready for bed so we did that while the rest of my family stayed at the pool. Come back to the room to NO HOT WATER. it was barely luke warm-if that so in and out I went. There were NO towels in the room when we checked in and had to ask the front desk two times to give us towels because they gave us two knowing there were 9 people (including the kids) so as I’m getting dressed a roach runs across the TV stand (where the microwave also sits) and then it hit me and I started looking around the room and instantly saw 2 more just crawling on the walls. Instantly disgusted… I start packing my stuff up and am getting prepared to tell my family that we have to leave because I cannot sleep in a roach infested room. So we all start packing up and then we just start getting curious (both me and my sister in law worked as housekeepers at a high end hotel) so she picked up the trash bag out of the trash can and there was maggots, crumbs that were obviously in there for a while because they were moldy, a moldy old corn dog stick, and popcorn kernels. So I took a video of that and the roaches crawling up the wall. Then I was like I almost bet they have bed bugs and I pulled the sheet up and low and behold… BED BUGS. MULTIPLE. So at this point my skin was crawling. We packed our stuff up at 9:00pm and left the room, immediately went to the front desk and got a refund for my deposit and was told I have to contact the third party company I booked through which I understood and was okay with. So we left. The front desk people (a middle eastern woman and man) were very friendly and respectful and truly concerned about our experience but I told them that it’s a serious problem, they offered to move our room but I told them no that I would rather just leave because I cannot sleep somewhere worrying about bugs crawling on me and my toddler. This was the WORST experience. And it is sad because it could be such a nice hotel but definitely need a good re-do and cleaning. Also hot tubs were not working.
Apr 01, 2025 · Casey O'ShieldsThis is a sad situation. What could be and use to be a great place to stay is now a dirty broken down place with rude front desk people. The pool had a sign up the whole time saying temporarily closed for cleaning. I finally just went in and swam when they weren't looking. The pool was nice. But the restaurant is closed. No free breakfast as advertised. The whole place is super humid. The doors weren't closing all the way so there was a cold draft. Every room has a glass front that is on the hallway side and the glass was broken on the room next to mine that no one seemed concerned about fixing and just had a sign up. There was literally poop between the washer and dryer. I asked house keeping if I could use their vacuum to clean my room, both vacuums they had that were given to me for use were not functioning but they were using them anyway. In other words nothing is really getting cleaned. The beds were terrible you could feel the springs. The parking lot has trash everywhere and cigarette butts were all over by the front door. Not sure if it will be open much longer bc the code inspector was there the night before I left and the city code enforcement was there when I checked out. I was very low on funds and my booking was non refundable or I would have changed locations. It really is nothing like what you see online. The flower pots by the pool were mostly dead plants or just dirt. My reservation was for two nights, I checked in in the evening. The first morning I came down to check out the pool and was screamed at by the guy at the front desk I'm not sure what he was saying but he tried to tell me that I was not a guest there I had to verify that I was me and my reservation and he didn't apologize.
Feb 05, 2025 · Nicole ConnWorst place to stay ever. 1. Pool doesn't open til 6pm and closed at 9pm 2 They make up rules as to what time you can get into the pool depending who you are. 3. Kept trying to run my kids out of the hot tub because you have to be 16 to get in the hot tub but my kids were 18 and 19. But they were allowing kids 2 and 3 to get into the hot tub because their family's worked for the hotel. 4. Wouldn't give us more than 2 rolls toilet paper when I rented 4 rooms for my family of 11. I had to buy toilet paper. 5. Wouldn't give us towels. The towels they would give us are the ones that you get out the shower and step on. Said that's all they had. Also no rags. 6. Refrigerator didn't work in 2 out of the 4 rooms. 7. Diner/bar and ice cream shop not open. 8. MOLD all in one of the rooms. 9. Room wasn't clean. 10. Also Jets in hot tub doesn't work. 11. Customer service 1 outta 10.
