May 15, 2025 · Daniel KryskallaThe room I got was super small and the bathroom was unbelievably small! So small that they had to place the toilet at an angle so that you could shut the door. You had to back into toilet to use it. I’ve never seen anything like it. The floors were covered with laminate fake wood flooring. And the price was $240 for the night—I would assume that for that price you’d get a much nicer room. I had no choice but to take it as the other motels were full and my son was taken to the hospital in an emergency and I needed a place to stay for the night. All I can say is that the room was clean. I won’t stay there again.
Oct 07, 2024 · John KronschnablI rarely write reviews but this place deserves one. I stayed here a couple years ago and it was pretty beat up and old. The ownership has done an amazing transformation. It’s not a Ritz Carlton but for the class of hotel they have done a really nice job. The staff was friendly and the renovations are done. It’s very clean. Bathrooms are a bit small but the room itself larger than most. The lobby/breakfast area room is really nice and more spacious than most places. Had a small convenience store area with snacks/beer available. Worked out great for our hockey team.
Jan 07, 2024 · Tony MilazzoBathroom and room heater full of fruit flies (both live and dead). Front desk solution was to open the windows in the room. Bathroom sink and tub back up. Restroom off of front desk smelled like sewer. Front desk was aware and put two air fresheners in there. No blackout shades or privacy curtains in room. Two bright pot lights shone in the room all night long. Others rooms also complained of these items. Front desk gentleman was extremely moody with other guests. Other male staff member said they'd address our concerns. No phone call, no contact from Clarion Pointe to date. If it wasn't for the nasty, overgrown fruit flies and lack of sleep from the bright lights this stay would have been better. A discount should have been offered because another room was not available.
Dec 27, 2023 · Kerri BurrierTo echo other comments, this facility should NOT be open during renovation. While the rooms will be nicer when the work is done, the current conditions are deplorable. We were booked for three nights and left after one. There were filled garbage bags littering the halls, plater dust, pieces of plaster, wallpaper strips on the floors, and garbage bags and trash in the parking lot. There was no power cord for the TV, and we were wakened at 7:30AM by hammering and a drill in what sounded like next door or the room above. When I went to the front desk to complain, no one was to be found - anywhere. What I did find was a notice there were no working fire alarms or sprinkler systems. No one mentioned this when we checked in. It’s the worst experience we have ever had at a motel/hotel. When we left, we used the elevator which had the wall stripped and the nasty carpet full of Sheetrock dust and pieces. When we tried to get out the door, it wouldn’t budge with both of us trying. We finally pulled as hard as we could and it finally popped open, clearly stuck. While they allowed us to check out two days early, they had no issue charging us the full rate for the one disastrous night, that was about 90% more than it was worth. I took pictures to show our family and they were shocked and horrified.
