We enjoyed this cabin our first night but on the second night we found roaches! They were everywhere, they clearly have a major infestation. They were crawling out of the eletric outlets, the coffee maker, pretty much every nook and cranny in the kitchen. I hadn't noticed the sticky traps the first night so they clearly know they have an issue with them. This is unsanitary. Very disappointing and disgusting especially for the price. I could not sleep at all after the discovery. This was in November of 2021
Are you a Tennessee local yearning for a mountain retreat, or perhaps planning a special family gathering in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains? The charming allure of a log cabin nestled amongst the pines often represents the quintessential Sevierville experience. Among the numerous options, Country Pines Log Home Resort offers a collection of cabins designed to provide a rustic yet comfortable escape, perfect for creating lasting memories right here in our beautiful state.
Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, Country Pines Log Home Resort isn't a traditional hotel. Instead, it's a community of individual log cabins, each offering a private and often spacious alternative to standard hotel rooms. This type of accommodation is particularly sought after by those who desire a home-away-from-home atmosphere, complete with unique amenities that cater to families, groups, or even couples seeking a romantic and secluded getaway.
The magic of staying in a log cabin in the Smokies lies in the ability to immerse yourself in nature while still being conveniently close to world-class attractions. Imagine waking up to the sounds of the forest, sipping coffee on a private deck, and then having the option to explore the excitement of Dollywood, the vibrant Parkway in Pigeon Forge, or the serene trails of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, all within a short drive. Country Pines Log Home Resort aims to deliver on this promise, providing a comfortable and private base for all your Appalachian adventures.
Unlike the uniformity of chain hotels, each cabin within a resort like Country Pines often has its own unique character and specific amenities, which can include private hot tubs, game rooms, and fully equipped kitchens. This emphasis on unique features and a more personalized living space is a significant draw for many visitors. It’s about more than just a room; it’s about having a dedicated space where your group can relax, play, and connect.
However, as with any private vacation rental, it's crucial for guests to understand that the experience can vary depending on the specific cabin and its management. While many cabins within the resort offer wonderful stays, it's always wise to manage expectations and communicate any concerns directly with the property management upon arrival. This proactive approach helps ensure that your mountain escape lives up to its full potential.

This address places the resort within the picturesque foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, offering a tranquil and wooded setting while maintaining excellent accessibility to the region's most beloved attractions.
Sevierville serves as a vital gateway to the entire Smoky Mountains area, and the resort's location within this community is highly advantageous. While individual cabins might be nestled in a more secluded environment, the resort itself is generally easy to access. The roads within the Country Pines Resort are typically paved and well-maintained by resort staff, ensuring stress-free travel year-round. This is particularly beneficial during the winter months, as the lower elevation and well-kept roads often mean special vehicles or four-wheel drive are not strictly required, though they can be a comfort in case of snowfall.
The convenience of this location means that guests can enjoy the peaceful ambiance of a log cabin while still being just a short drive from the bustling entertainment hubs. Key nearby attractions typically include:
The "Country Pines Way" address suggests a dedicated community, offering a sense of privacy and a natural setting, where "there will be neighboring cabins" but still a quiet atmosphere. This balance of seclusion and proximity to action makes Country Pines Log Home Resort a practical and appealing choice for exploring all that Sevier County has to offer.
As a log home resort, Country Pines provides services tailored to a vacation rental experience rather than a traditional hotel. The emphasis is on offering a fully equipped, self-catering accommodation. While you won't find daily maid service or a concierge at a front desk for each individual cabin, the typical "services" included or facilitated are:
It's important for guests to be aware that while the cabins are well-equipped, items like charcoal for grills, specific kitchen spices/oils, coffee filters, and clothes hangers are often not supplied and guests may need to bring their own. Also, issues like pests, as noted in a review, should be immediately reported to the property management for resolution, as cleanliness standards can sometimes vary between individual rental units.
The cabins at Country Pines Log Home Resort are designed to offer a quintessential Smoky Mountain experience, blending rustic charm with comfortable amenities. While specific features can vary slightly between individual cabins, here are the common highlights guests can typically expect:
It's important to note that while amenities like hot tubs are generally functional, specific conditions such as cleanliness upon arrival (e.g., "pigeon poop ALL over the entrance deck," "trashed Hot tub lid") or interior cleanliness ("food crumbs all over the floor," "shredded cheese crumbs," "super gunky" floors) can be issues, as highlighted by a negative review. Guests should review recent feedback and communicate any concerns promptly upon check-in.
As a collection of log home rentals, Country Pines Log Home Resort properties are typically managed by various local property management companies (e.g., Outrageous Cabins, Bear Cove Cabins, Fireside Chalets, etc.). These companies frequently offer a range of promotions and special deals to attract guests throughout the year. While specific offers can vary widely and are subject to change, here are common types of promotions you might encounter for cabins in the Sevierville area:
To find the most current and accurate promotions for a specific cabin within Country Pines Log Home Resort, it is highly recommended to visit the official websites of the property management companies that list these cabins (such as Outrageous Cabins, Bear Cove Cabins, or other rental platforms like Vrbo and Airbnb for specific units within the resort). Always verify the terms and conditions of any offer before booking.
Since Country Pines Log Home Resort is a collection of individually managed cabins, there isn't a single central reception desk with a dedicated phone number for the entire resort as you would find at a hotel. Instead, contact will be handled by the specific property management company through which a particular cabin is booked. However, the general address for the resort community is:
For phone inquiries, you would typically use the contact number provided by the specific rental agency or booking platform (e.g., Vrbo, Airbnb, or directly from property management sites like Outrageous Cabins, Bear Cove Cabins, etc.) when you make your reservation. These numbers can vary significantly. For example, some general contact numbers for cabin rentals in the Sevierville area are often: (865) 459-4797 or (865) 419-4562, but these are illustrative and not specific to a single cabin or unit at Country Pines. Always refer to your booking confirmation or the cabin's listing page for the precise contact details for your reservation.
It is crucial to have the direct contact information for the specific property manager or owner of your rented cabin to address any issues promptly, as some reviews highlight the importance of immediate communication regarding cleanliness or maintenance.
For residents across Tennessee, especially those seeking a quick and immersive escape into the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, Country Pines Log Home Resort in Sevierville presents a compelling and highly suitable option. While it's a popular choice for tourists, this collection of log cabins offers distinct advantages that make it particularly appealing for locals looking for a refreshing change of scenery or a comfortable place for family and friends to stay.

We have the magnificent Smokies right in our backyard, and a cabin at Country Pines allows you to fully embrace the mountain experience without the extensive travel time or costs associated with a distant vacation. It’s a perfect way to unplug, unwind, and enjoy the tranquility of a wooded setting, complete with amenities like a private hot tub, all just a short drive from home. This convenience makes spontaneous weekend getaways or even midweek breaks much more feasible.
Secondly, Country Pines Log Home Resort is an excellent solution for accommodating visiting family and friends. Instead of trying to squeeze everyone into your home, booking a spacious log cabin provides your guests with their own private, well-appointed space. Cabins with multiple bedrooms and a game room ensure that everyone, especially children, has plenty of room to relax and be entertained. This allows your visitors to truly experience the unique charm of a Smoky Mountain cabin while maintaining your own household's comfort. The positive review mentioning "plenty of room for everyone" in a 3-bedroom cabin highlights this benefit for larger groups.
The cabin features, such as fully equipped kitchens, allow locals to enjoy home-cooked meals even while on vacation, saving money and offering a familiar comfort. The presence of amenities like a hot tub and perhaps a community pool (if available for the specific cabin) adds a touch of luxury and recreation that enhances any stay. While one review mentioned issues with cleanliness and pests, it underscores the importance for locals to choose reputable booking platforms or property managers and to communicate any problems immediately upon arrival, as swift resolution is often possible.
Ultimately, Country Pines Log Home Resort provides a unique and authentic Smoky Mountain lodging experience. It’s a chance for Tennessee residents to reconnect with nature, enjoy quality time with loved ones in a comfortable and private setting, and create cherished memories right here in our beautiful state. It's an accessible escape that combines the rustic charm of a log cabin with the conveniences needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Apr 25, 2023 · Savanna CoxWe rented the 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin for a week. There were 7 of us. It was very well stocked. There was plenty of room for everyone. They hot tub was hot when we got there. It was clean and ready for our stay. The only down fall I had was with a LG group we had a good amount of garbage that we tried to put in the 1 bin they provided. You would think they would have had a pickup in the middle of the week so the garbage wouldn't sit there all week long. So it did get piled up next to the hot tub. Other then that our stay was great.
Sep 25, 2016 · Liz OlsenBeen going to these cabins for over two decades, but this will be our last time. Chief complaint that has never been addressed is that all of the numerous cabins that we've stayed in over the years are dimly/poorly lit. There are NO lamps in the living area. We always take lamps & jury-rig stands from the bedrooms and rearrange furniture to have adequate reading light. Staff is friendly, but only given 2 bath towels for a 2-person/4 night stay. Toilet issues & smelly mattress pad were the last straws, but not going to elaborate. Regret the visit this time around & saddened that the quality since buy-out has slipped.
Sep 15, 2021 · Eric WilliamsMy husband and I have been staying here in different cabins for years. Love the location and for the most part the cabins but it's December!! Take away the rotten pumpkins at the entrance and decorate for Christmas! And the cabins could use some decorations as well!
Dec 11, 2022 · Leigh MoodyThe place developed plumbing problem when the toilet backed up on the bottom floor. These things happen from time to time but, they responded quickly but it was gonna take time to fix and clean properly. They immediately booked us into this beautiful log mansion. It save our vacation and turned out to be the best vacation ever. Thank you very much Cathy
