On the plus side, the room I got was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The price was a little high compared to similar hotels in other small towns in the Southeast, but not outrageous. The noise from nearby rooms was pretty constant, but not loud. I noticed it, but wasn't put out by it, and it stopped at a reasonable hour. Still, the hotel could do with more soundproofing, or leave vacant rooms in between each rental to the extent possible. The room itself was a little tatty, as when things break and aren't replaced or fixed. A bare bulb here, a malfunctioning light fixture there. The hotel seems not to budget for maintenance. The curtain across the large window wasn't wide enough to completely cover it. And the remote for the TV was iffy. It was difficult to get the machine to change channels, increase or decrease volume, etc. And the free breakfast was a joke. There were no coffee fixings (sweetener, creamer) and the breads offered were just plain sliced white or wheat. Not a bagel or an English muffin in sight. Honestly, why do they even bother?

Jun 06, 2025 · Passepartout Too-TooFirst off, let me say the only reason we stayed in this hotel is because we had to take a last minute trip due to a death in the Family. When we arrived we had to wait for someone to come to check in area . Once we entered our room it gave (Bates Motel) nasty discolored walls, stained carpet , cigarette burns in terribly outdated bedding. I immediately left for Walmart having to purchase bleach, Lysol, scrub brushes and bed bug spray for good measure. I had to clean the entire room. The walls were so badly discolored that some areas were yellow with stains from only God knows. The bathroom floors were sunken in / dipped down and water pressure in shower made it very hard to feel clean. The toilet backed up twice. I gave one star because I had to. This hotel should not hold the brand of Wyndham because it’s obvious the owners don’t care about making necessary upgrades to bring up ratings. Gross all around.
Apr 27, 2025 · Charity JonesThis hotel deserves highest ratings. You can tell they work hard to keep the property clean and well kept. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pillows were nice and fluffy. The owners are very kind and helpful and seem to really appreciate your business We are very glad we stayed at this hotel.
Mar 16, 2025 · Kelli OThe place is run by the kindest family and our rooms were impeccable! We were treated like royalty. The pool was clean and warm and breakfast great!!!!!
Mar 06, 2025 · Beth HallRooms are mostly clean but very outdated. Beds are small and pillows are somehow lumpy and flat at the same time. It’s clear the owners don’t want to spend any money on creating a comfortable hotel room. There is no storage for your clothes, just two small drawers, and the TV’s are very small.
