For those searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Warren, PA, area, the Days Inn by Wyndham Warren, located at 210 Ludlow St, Warren, PA 16365, USA, often appears as a more economical choice. It's important for potential guests to note that, based on recent customer feedback, the hotel appears to be undergoing a period of transition, including ongoing renovations and fluctuating availability of certain advertised amenities.
Environment and Location:
The Days Inn by Wyndham Warren is situated in Warren, a town that serves as a gateway to the vast Allegheny National Forest and other natural attractions in Western Pennsylvania. Its address at 210 Ludlow St places it in a location that offers relatively easy access to local points of interest. Guests can typically reach downtown Warren, with its shops, restaurants, and the Allegheny River, within a short drive. For outdoor enthusiasts, the hotel's proximity to the Allegheny National Forest, Kinzua Dam, and various state parks offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, and other recreational activities. While the immediate surroundings might not be scenic, the hotel's location is generally considered convenient for navigating the Warren area. It provides free self-parking, including space for larger vehicles, which is beneficial for travelers with trucks or RVs exploring the rural landscape. However, some guests have mentioned issues with the parking lot needing repair, such as potholes. The overall impression from recent reviews suggests the hotel building and common areas may currently present a "worn" or "dingy" appearance due to ongoing work.
Services and Amenities:
Historically, Days Inn properties are known for offering a range of standard amenities. However, current guest reviews for Days Inn by Wyndham Warren indicate that some typically advertised services may not be consistently available. While the hotel generally promotes a "free light breakfast," recent guest experiences suggest that breakfast service has been suspended for some time. Similarly, advertised amenities such as a bar, restaurant, or pool have been reported as closed or non-existent by recent guests, with the indoor pool specifically mentioned as being closed for maintenance. It is highly advisable for prospective guests to contact the hotel directly at (814) 208-5738 to confirm the current availability of any specific amenities prior to booking. The hotel does offer free Wi-Fi in public areas and typically in guest rooms, allowing for basic connectivity. A 24-hour front desk is available to assist guests with check-in and other inquiries. While some staff members have been described as helpful and friendly, particularly in resolving reservation issues, other reviews suggest inconsistencies in service. The hotel is generally advertised as pet-friendly, allowing pets in designated rooms, though it's always best to confirm the policy and any associated fees directly with the hotel. Laundry facilities are also usually available for guest use.
Features of the Rooms:
The rooms at Days Inn by Wyndham Warren are designed to provide basic accommodation. They are equipped with air conditioning and often include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a coffee/tea maker, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. Private bathrooms typically feature a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries. Ironing facilities and hair dryers are also generally provided in the rooms. While reviews suggest that rooms are usually clean, some guests have noted that they appear "worn" or "dated," with "patched up repairs" and "second-hand furniture" visible, particularly during longer stays. There have been instances where basic room functionalities, such as working phones or adequate lighting, were an issue. The hotel offers various room types, including those with one or two queen beds, and typically has non-smoking rooms available. Connecting/adjoining rooms can be requested, which can be convenient for families or groups. Despite the reported cosmetic wear, guests generally find the beds comfortable and the rooms adequate for basic overnight needs, especially given the price point. Hypo-allergenic bedding and cribs/infant beds may also be available upon request.
Promotional Information and Guest Experience:
The Days Inn by Wyndham brand typically focuses on providing a familiar and affordable stay. However, the Days Inn by Wyndham Warren appears to be in a transitional phase with ongoing renovations, which can impact the guest experience. While the brand usually promotes amenities like free breakfast and pools, current reviews strongly indicate that these services are frequently unavailable. This discrepancy between advertised amenities and actual offerings is a significant point of concern for recent guests and should be carefully considered by anyone looking to book. The hotel's appeal primarily lies in its potentially lower price point compared to other options in the area and its convenient location for accessing local attractions or as a stopover. The experience for guests can be mixed, with some finding it "adequate for our needs" and noting clean rooms despite the wear, while others have expressed significant dissatisfaction due to lack of amenities, maintenance issues, or perceived lack of cleanliness. It is crucial for guests to manage their expectations, understanding that the hotel's current state might not align with standard Days Inn brand expectations or previously published information. Directly contacting the hotel to inquire about the current status of renovations and available amenities before booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

May 10, 2025 · Lee WalkerCan you give a place zero stars? The location is okay, and that's about all I can say. I'm a Gold Wyndham Rewards member who booked via the official Wyndham app. First, I was given a room right at the end of a dingy corridor. Then, the key cards didn't work, so I couldn't get into the room. While getting that sorted, I asked if I could get a closer room. The associate said she only had a room with two queen beds available, which is actually what I'd asked for. So, apparently, I'd not been given the room type I'd requested. When I then asked about the breakfast time for the "free light breakfast" I was told they'd not served breakfast in some months. I immediately canceled my booking, and, so far, that's the only thing that appears to have gone right with my experience because my card isn't showing a charge. The building is like a ghost town. The lighting needs to be immediately improved not only to look more welcoming but also for safety. Apparently, there's maintenance going on, but I didn't see anything. I did see the pool was closed for maintenance, but that was it. I ended up at another, non-Wyndham brand hotel across town. There, the entrance was warm and inviting. I was acknowledged as a rewards member. I got the room I asked for, even though I'd only booked it ten minutes previously. And yes, I got a lovely breakfast the following day.
Apr 14, 2025 · Sally McCombsWorst hotel ever. Costed over 80 dollars for a night and there isn't access to the pool cause of maintenance issues which there is way more concerning issues need fixed then the pool. It was a hassle to get into the room cause key cards don't work properly. The one elevator is broken and using the other one is very sketchy and literally have to press button to what floor you want and then when it stops door won't open unless you press the number again. Then in the microwave was a plate with a half rotten steak in there so tells you not very cleanines. Will never rent a room here ever.
Apr 05, 2025 · Chris RockwellI am a traveling nurse and needed a room close to my work place during the snowy weather. Although the website states that they serve breakfast, the desk clerk stated that there was no breakfast due to renovations. No microwave in room and a tiny refrigerator that would not hold the food I bought. The door key would not work the first night and I had to have two made before the clerk stated it may be the battery. She did not call anyone but made a new card which took a minute for it to work to unlock my door. Same issue the second night with door lock. The coffee pot was even behind the clerk’s desk and I was not able get it on my own. No discount for all the inconveniences. The parking lot was so icy and not once was it salted for safety. Nearly fell 3 times walking to my car. I will not stay here again.
Feb 16, 2025 · Tia MitchellAbsolutely gone down hill. They maybe making renovations but it’s never going to be the same. Only reason we stay was for my 13yr olds birthday so he could swim with friends. Pool was closed when we got here. Then it stayed they had breakfast but they don’t anymore. Very disappointing. Then my concerns while here were not addressed which included at midnight people running the halls repeatedly knocking on our door. Waking my 2 year old up.
