Economy Inn Appleton Wisconsin

My husband stayed there one night out of the 4 he booked for a work trip. If we could give it a 0 star, we would except for the fact they did try to accomodate him and get him to stay there longer. They did refund the other 3 days of his stay, even though there was a sign that said no refunds, so there's that. Bottom line, the place is dirty and needs a visit from the health department. There's no other way to put it. The bathtub has nasty tub sticker residue and dirt in it, there were cigarette burn holes on the bedding, and a random stain of what he wasn't sure. Like others have mentioned, it smells of pot throughout the place too. His toilet ran the whole night, people were arguing in the hallways, and the air conditioning didn't work well. He's stayed at many low cost motels for work, but this was by far the worst to the point he checked out early. He didn't feel like looking under the bedding, because he had had a long drive, was tired, and was afraid of what he might fine, so he slept in his clothes on top if the bedding. In the morning when he woke up, there was mouse feces on his arm. This is totally unacceptable. I hope the owners clean it up and update the place very soon.

Random hole in a very conspicuous location. Didn't feel very safe as a guest for many reasons, the biggest reason being this hole facing the beds that was too out of reach for me to examine. It looks like a peep hole. I'm not saying that's what it is, but I AM saying that it made me uncomfortable enough to leave immediately. I could only handle about 20 minutes in my room before noping right out of there. Wasted money. The other negative reviews already said everything I was going to say. It is not my wish to insult this motel, but rather to provide feedback that they may find important and helpful. Hopefully they can make some improvements (such as patching up the wall holes that apparently are in several of the rooms) and get themselves in better standing with these reviews. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful when I checked in.

Got to the room and the large window was wide open, no screen, so there was a good number of bugs in the room. The TV worked. The shower was working but not good. The room, excluding bugs, was clean. The bad was, a random guy hanging out in the small lobby all night and was still there in the morning. The room across from us had a medical emergency at 1am, Unsure of the nature. The vending machines were empty and had random construction materials laying around them despite no visible work being done. All in all, not the worst but probably worth going elsewhere.

Some times 0 stars is the review needed. Wouldn't stay here again if i had any other option including sleeping in my car. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Arriving at the motel the parking lot around 11pm it was not well lit and felt like it wasn't the most safe place to be. Walking/checking in was a fine enough experience the front desk cleark was on the phone the entire time. Getting to the room the floors were dirty the bed had folded sheets on it that I had to make the bed myself with no other blankets or pillow cases. The room was a musty 85° with the ac system or and no circulation of air. The bathroom was just as dirty as anything else the shower had stains the only positive was good water pressure. I stayed here for one night checking in at 11pm out by 6am and literally it wasn't quick enough for me. I debating many times leaving in the night because of a dirty unsafe feeling. Im not typical one to leave reviews and I can let alot slide but this place was bad.

GROSS!!!!! This is by far the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. Staff was nice enough. I can understand why this stay is so cheap. They must be paying off the health inspector or something. Good luck any brave souls that stay here. haha.
