Awful experience. I booked directly through the hotel website 5 months in advance of my stay. I was looking for somewhere close to the Bank of NH Pavillion and this seemed decent- I was wrong! Firstly, I was put in a pet friendly room when I did not book one nor have a pet with me. The room definitely smelled like dog. Upon settling into our room we noticed there were cobwebs webs on the walls, a layer of dust on the head boards, a used flosser on the floor next to the dresser, a dog toy and a plastic chip behind the bed... the list goes on. What was most shocking was the dead bugs... I always check for bed bugs no matter where I stay, in doing this I pull the sheets back on the bad to inspect the mattress. As I did this, the mattress and box spring shifted and there were tons of dead bugs under the bed. They were not bed bugs but more beetle looking things and flies. The dust was overwhelming and while getting a closer look I noticed the surface mold on the bed bases. Gross. I went to the front desk to request a different room, of course there were none available. The biggest issue here is that everything we found were not things that just happened to get missed by the housekeepers one time, it was very obviously things that never get cleaned. I will say, the night manager Elaine was very helpful and apologetic- she came to the room right away to clean as best as she could. Unfortunately, "I'm sorry" and cleaning the room while guests are in it and trying to get ready for an event just doesn't cut it for the cost. I left direct feedback with the hotel but have yet to here from anyone. I tired to give the opportunity for a resolution before a poor public review. Very disappointing customer service. Definitely would not recommend- especially if you're in the area for an event because you'll end up like us with no other option in an hour radius.

I'll preface this by saying I travel a lot, usually staying in high-end hotels. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for nearby events this place is decent. Otherwise, if you want your hotel to be a part of your getaway, I'd look for alternative options. This hotel is very clean but very dated. The staff is friendly and you're provided with the basic amenities. The breakfast is a small selection quick grab-and-go style. My only gripe is the hot water which is in desperate need of servicing. Unfortunately, you will come out smelling like a sewer. If it wasn't for our "one-night-only" stay, I would have most certainly switched hotels. With that said, I'm very happy overall but would certainly check on that HW issue before booking, and then immediately check on arrival.

I stayed here growing up and going back this time with my wife for our first wedding anniversary was beautiful. We stayed in one of the suites over looking the mountains which was beautiful and never got old each tie we woke up. We had easy access to the patio and the grab and go breakfast which was simple but enough to get us going for the day. The indoor pool was very relaxing and the spa with the waterfall was a nice treat. The staff are pleasant and very helpful anytime we had questions. The rooms have heating and A/C during the hot and cold months and great for those who need white noise while sleeping. The curtains actually block out sunlight unlike some places where they might be a gap. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great for those who like some additional warmth after a shower.

Check in was a breeze. I have stayed with you a couple times over the past 5 years, I will say this was the most uncomfortable stay I have had in a long time. The hotel security made my guest and I feel like we were under constant supervision. One example: My guest and I wanted an escape from the heat and loud noise after a concert. Our balcony was blasting hot air from the ac and horribly loud, so we walked down to the court yard outside of the pool area that closed at 8pm. We sat down and immediately had security personal tell us to go back to our room. I was flabbergasted by this but did not make a fuss because we were exhausted from the long day. Another thing I noticed was that I woke up with a very sore throat and feeling sickly. I would recommend making sure your AC units are cleaned regularly. Not sure if I will book here again. The accommodations and comfort 1-2 stars for this outdated overpriced hotel and for the price of the stay I do expect more.
