This was my hotel for a couple of days while road tripping through New England. There was a small delay in my room being available for check-in, I arrived at 6:30 and they were doing some maintenance work still. The lady at the front counter was very apologetic and Offered some recommendations for places to get food in the area so that my time was best occupied while I waited for my room available. I returned a approximately 10 to 15 minutes later and there was a line of four people checking in the woman Pam if I recall her name correctly was doing everything in her power to be polite and courteous to customers, but move people through the line as quickly as possible. She apologized again when I received my room key for the room, not being ready when I arrived.

May 19, 2025 · Emma PorterfieldAs the location, I mean, it was New Bedford, right? So we’re not exactly expecting the Ritz. And they were in the middle of renovations. And truth be told, we were not there for any kind of fun vacation reason but to visit an ailing relative. All that said, I would recommend this place very much. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were stocked. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in these large bottles literally attached to the shower wall, which is actually a kind of nice design and removes the need for those little travel bottles that get scattered all over the place. Many of the amenities were closed for the construction, but there was a small exercise studio that was open, and I appreciated that. Plus, we were serenaded to sleep by a family of coyotes, which was very sweet and not intrusive at all. No sarcasm, it reminded us of home. We slept well and in comfort. The heating/air conditioner works perfectly and, unlike some hotels, did not make the noise of an 18 wheeler.
May 01, 2025 · Bill SweetI arrived on April 30th at 3pm. I was greeted by Stephen and Pam at the front desk. Stephen was wiping sweat from his brow. Apparently he had been slaving over a hot oven while baking cookies and awaiting our arrival. Pam was the sweetest front desk operator and immediately made us feel welcome. Seriously- these two are excellent representatives for the Hampton Inn Hotels --and exactly what I want when arriving at any location. We stay at lots of hotels around Massachusetts throughout the year since it's hard for us to getaway for extended periods of time, so we go on "stay-cations" And review our experiences. The Hampton Inn never disappoints and it's due to carefully selecting workers who actually care and are knowledgeable about their jobs. Stephen and Pam make it easy for me to write fantastic reviews and other hotels should take note on the Hampton Inn style and personal. Thanks guys for the laughs and making us feel welcome! David and Elizabeth
Apr 30, 2025 · ElizabethWe stayed for one night on April 26/27. The hotel was under renovations, which I understand. It was a long night, our room must have been over the lobby. We did not sleep due to all of the hammering and banging to remove the floor tiles. This type of construction should not be completed while guests are sleeping!
May 01, 2025 · Mark YarishSuper nice staff. Very clean. The place was also being updated, which surprisingly didn't interfere at all with our stay.
