May 19, 2025 · Donica PughBoth Charles as well as Celeste are always so kind and helpful each time that I come to stay here. Charles is all about customer service and you can feel it. I had a minor issue with my room and Celeste was instant to fix it. Don’t even get me started on how good that breakfast is, I’m a sucker for the pancakes. Need a late night treat before the kitchen closes? I suggest the wings, flavor is delicious and they’re super meaty. I also loved the bartender, unfortunately forgot his name, but he was very welcoming and suggested that we come to dinner.
Feb 27, 2025 · Haley BowenStayed for 2 nites for a State Boards exam prep class held locally. Super nice rooms and staff that I saw busy all the time working hospitality for the hotel. Rooms are clean and secure. Lobby has breakfast avail with once again a great staff making everything look and go smoothly for your stay.
Mar 23, 2025 · Michael RStayed here a couple nights for work and I'm glad I picked it. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and informative and it seemed they enjoy doing it. Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Highly recommend.
Apr 04, 2025 · James CollinsIt could definitely be better for the price. Room was decent enough, attractive looking for what it is, and the late night front desk person was very sweet. My issues are that it isn't conducive to sleep. I was given a room that adjoins the room next to it with a door. Great for families who need two rooms, terrible for a single traveler who then has to listen to someone blasting their TV at 1, 2 and 3 AM- literally all night and still blasting in morning. I could literally hear that it was SpongeBob, that is how little soundproofing there is. My second issue is that the curtains do not close all the way and leave a wide sliver of bright light at night from the lighting outside, and then in the morning with sun blasting in your face. My third biggest issue is that checkout is at noon. I arrived at 1:30 AM and didn't fall asleep until much later due to the aforementioned issues. My plan was to sleep until 10:30 AM, but then housekeeping comes knocking at the door at 10 AM even though checkout isn't for another two hours. I'm very annoyed by this as I had the do not disturb sign set up. They should have a way to communicate with housekeeping which rooms are empty and which are still occupied. The bed is also very firm, and you can tell the mattress is old as it is lumpy and you can feel the springs. That seems to be a problem pretty much across the board with roadside hotels though. My final complaints are more minor, but housekeeping could do a more attentive job. It wasn't terrible, but the standard wasn't as high as it should be for $150 a night. One of my washcloths was used and sitting on the counter when I came in, and things could definitely be cleaner. Overall not a horrible stay, that's why I gave it three stars. But with minor improvements to a person's ability to sleep, it could be a much better place. Soundproof the damn doors that adjoin rooms- or don't assign single travelers to one of these rooms/ alert them if there are alternative options. I should not have to hear Mr. Krabs yelling at SpongeBob at all hours of the night.
