*$25 Pet fee Our "non-smoking" room had cigarette smoke embedded in everything in the room. It was disgusting. We asked the office for spray, and the woman didn't have any and said housekeeping might. She asked how long we were staying, like that mattered. Poor customer service. The room overall (besides the smell) was fine. No bugs, clean sheets that weren't stained. Bed was comfortable. Appliances needed to be cleaned. The bathroom toilet seat had hair on it and other stuff on it. I had to wipe it down with clorox wipe. The shower also had hair in it. The water pressure was great. Every time you sat on the toilet, it moved. It's loosely bolted. Don't know about breakfast because we left. They had no dog area with a waste can and bags, which is crazy since they accept pets. I'm a responsible pet owner and pick up after my dog. Some pet owners don't. Would we stay here again? Yes. I'd check the room first, but you're limited due to owning a pet. Also, housekeeping really needs to pay attention to the small stuff.

I can’t say better about this place!!! Fast, accommodating, clean, friendly, great service! Fresh remodel, I hope management continues taking care of it the way they are because they will see great prosperity this way. Parking is good, convenient location, and people who care about quality. Do not let the outside appearance fool you. Truly haven’t stayed at a place this well taken care of in a while. Very refreshing. Keep it up! Will return!

We had a great stay here over Columbus day weekend! This isn't the fanciest of places, but it is clean and well maintained. The rooms are small, but very well designed. The customer service, though, is wonderful! We felt very well taken care of during our stay. The front desk is very considerate and friendly, making you feel right at home. The location is centrally located to Wethersfield, Rocky Hill and Newington with easy access to I-91 and tons of stores and restaurants. Parking is safe and easy to navigate.

Great small family run motel with clean & updated rooms at a very affordable price! Plus, it's right off of the highway which makes it very convenient. This is my go to spot to stay at whenever I am in town

If you're staying in the Rocky Hill area, the Howard Johnson hotel is an excellent choice. I've had the pleasure of staying here multiple times, and it has always been a great experience. The rooms are consistently clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. What really stands out, though, is the staff-everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Whether you're in town for a quick visit or an extended stay, I highly recommend Howard Johnson in Rocky Hill. It's a great value and a reliable place to stay.
