Rented 5 cabins in June 2024 for extended family; we all rented the older cabins. Pros: level lake access, great fishing (walleye, panfish), large shoreline, nice swimming area, great views, awesome game room/bar/snack bar, allows dogs ($175 per dog), affordable, close to town, super nice staff. Deer visited property regularly. We loved no TVs, Wi-Fi, or A/C. A couple cabins had microwaves, but not all. Had clean sheets. Know that they do not supply box fans or extra blankets - definitely pack those! Cons: Generally, they're a bit dilapidated but it seems like owners are slowly making improvements. Basic maintenance issues - broken glass windows, torn window screens, peeling paint, rodent droppings inside a couple cabins. No railings on steps into cabin (2-3 steps only though, but could be a challenge for seniors), gas leak in one water heater (was fixed a day later), rusted appliances in some but not all cabins. Beds were very uncomfortable for adults; kids were fine. Can't speak to the newest cabins, #2 and #3, but they looked beautiful. Overall, a fun family trip and hope they are able to continue to make basic upgrades to the cabins - it's an old school treasure.

Had a great stay. The cabins are quaint and located on the water. I could hear the waves hitting the rocks from my bedroom. Soothing! The bars are great and affordable. On is located on the river and had waiting lines more often than not- ice cream and margaritas! The lodge has games and places to relax or visit! Highly recommend it!

We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days over the 4th of July weekend. On Sat and Sun we stoped here to get a bite to eat and something to drink. The staff was super friendly and engaging, we sat at tables outside and had cheeseburgers which were very good. They were really busy but we got our food in a timely manner. We had our dog with us so we were going to eat in the pontoon boat but they said, if your dog doesn't pee everywhere you're welcome to sit at the tables outside. He doesn't, so we were able to eat at a table. Very decent food and extremely decent staff. Thank you!!!
