Booked this hotel because I didn’t feel like looking around after my flight was delayed several hours and now being 10:30 pm trying to book a hotel for the night. I know it’s only a two-star hotel. But I do expect things to be in good working condition and the rooms clean. The hotel looks good from the outside. The serve breakfast for 6-8 am (Didn’t get to try it), they also have a small gym (Didn’t use it either), a soda machines on every floor. That also offer free shuttle to and from the airport, it stops working at 10:00 pm. The hotel is about 10 minutes or less from the airport. The room wasn’t very clean. Showers had women’s hair still stuck on the shower walls and only one light worked in the room. At around 2:30 am there was this weird continuous honking noise, it kinda sounded like a train horn, but I really did not see any train tracks close by, so not sure what that was, could not go back to sleep after that. The front desk guys was welcoming and friendly. Would I recommend it? probably not!

May 27, 2025 · J GThe location was great for our visit for ASU graduation. Staff was truly fantastic. Our issues were with the cleanliness of the rooms which was just terrible, and a water leak outside our room by the ice maker that left standing water, soaked carpets and a terrible smell of mildew. Eventually we had to ask to be moved because water was seeping into the carpet of our room causing the room to smell terribly. We were relocated immediately upon asking to a smaller 2 double room instead of the king suite we originally booked. Upon getting to that room we found the toilet seat with obvious urine spots that had not been wiped up and dirty floors. The hotel rates are cheap so we have chalked this experience up to getting what we paid for, but we will not stay here again or recommend it.
May 19, 2025 · BATWe stayed at this LaQuinta the last night of our trip because it was convenient to the airport. That was all it had going for it, honestly. While the rooms were clean, they were extremely outdated. The entire hotel is desperately in need of a remodel, if not a complete teardown and rebuild. This felt more like a motel than a hotel. All of the room entrances were outside, which definitely lowered the safety factor. I made sure that I engaged all of the locks on our door before we went to sleep. The inside of our room was small. Barely enough room in the bathroom to close the door!! Bathtub felt a little dirty. Breakfast was disappointing. Just the very basics.. No potatoes or eggs.
Apr 14, 2025 · Mary S.I had a terrible experience at the La Quinta. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until about midnight. At that time, despite having a reservation, we were told that there were no clean rooms available. They were cleaning rooms, but we waited for over 2 hours to be granted a room. At that time, it was 2am and my 2-year-old had been wailing, "I want to sleep!" in the lobby for that long. We checked into the room at 2am on the day of checkout and found it to be dirty - there was a drawer full of dirty clothes and a cigarette lighter on the bureau. It was very late, and since we knew there we no other available rooms, we slept for about 4 hours and then packed up and left. The breakfast was poor - they were out of milk for cereal, creamer for coffee, and we found a small piece of glass in the waffle we made. I will add that I also tried to pursue a refund with both the hotel and with Expedia, and at this time both have refused. I would not recommend staying at this hotel or booking with Expedia due to very poor customer service.
Mar 20, 2025 · Brittany A. MosherI have loved the La Quinta brand of hotels for many years and have used them consistently when traveling with my dog in the western US. But this hotel is a Motel 2 (not even 6) - exterior doors, old air conditioning unit that clunks on and off during the night, in a questionable neighborhood, and I could keep going! The staff is friendly, but even Santa Claus working at the desk couldn’t make up for how run down this place is. Wyndham is running the La Quinta brand into the ground by including hotels like this one in the chain. I am no longer trusting the brand name when booking and blindly thinking I will get a known level of quality based on this hotel experience. It left me with such a bad taste in my mouth I also changed my plans for the next night on my road trip and selected a different hotel.
