This cabin is absolutely filthy. It is in very poor condition. Broken chairs. Oven door is about to fall off, dishwasher has 3 inches of water in it. The upstairs balcony wouldn't open . They called us 3 hours after we complained and said that deck was un safe but there was no note and we had been walking on it.
Howdy, fellow Tennesseans! When the majestic peaks of the Smoky Mountains beckon and you're planning an unforgettable escape to Pigeon Forge, the idea of a spacious and amenity-rich cabin often comes to mind. Forget the traditional hotel room; for a true immersive mountain experience, a private lodge can offer unparalleled comfort and entertainment. Today, we're taking a closer look at Leconte Bear Lodge, a property designed to host larger groups and families looking for that quintessential Smoky Mountain retreat.
Leconte Bear Lodge is a cabin-style accommodation, distinct from a typical hotel, offering a comprehensive living space that aims to provide both relaxation and recreation. It's built for those who desire more than just a place to sleep – it's a destination in itself, equipped with features to keep everyone entertained. As a vacation rental, it promises a private and unique experience in the heart of Pigeon Forge, known for its family-friendly attractions and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Guest experiences, as with any property, can sometimes vary. While one review highlighted significant cleanliness and maintenance issues, describing the cabin as "absolutely filthy" with "broken chairs" and a "dishwasher that has 3 inches of water in it," another guest offered a much more positive perspective, stating they "Got a cabin. Very nice clean" and that it "had everything we needed." This discrepancy suggests that while some areas might need attention, the potential for a "nice clean" stay exists, especially with responsive management. The positive review also noted it was "Close enough to the strip," referring to the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge, indicating convenient access to local attractions.
It's clear that prospective guests should consider the scope of services and be prepared for the cabin rental experience, which differs from a typical hotel stay where daily housekeeping and on-site maintenance might be more immediately available. However, for those seeking a spacious environment with dedicated entertainment options and beautiful views, Leconte Bear Lodge offers a compelling package in the Smoky Mountains.
