For one the staff is not friendly, secondly these rooms are disgusting. Mold under the sink, dirty beds, they don’t give you additional towels or wash cloths, the smell of the rooms is completely repulsive and never goes away no matter how much air freshener you spray, the lock censor to get into the rooms malfunctioned the entire time I was there and they manager refused to let me change rooms. Save yourself the hassle and stay in Lavonia. Oh and the pictures online show a working pool but it is not and the front desk told me they have no plans to fix it. The pictures online are from the old hotel that use to be there.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Where do I start? First when we got there the system was down and the guy had to do everything on paper and insisted that it was normal. This is our first time booking at this hotel as we usually stay at holiday in Lavonia. The front desk person was very hard to understand. He asked for 60$ deposit which is normal but he asked for it in cash. The guy at the counter couldn’t be bothered to give us the time of day. He was completely out of focus. The first room key he gave us did not work and he had to bring a second one. As soon as we entered the room there was a pungent smell. As a person with severe asthma it was very hard for me to breathe. We had room spray but that did not help. The bed sheets and blankets were stained and the pillows and bed itself were lumpy. The carpet was stiff in some places like something sticky was spilled and not cleaned properly. The air conditioning was smelly and did not work properly. HALF Of all the outlets did not work. The phone, microwave, and tv were not plugged in and in working condition. The bathroom had a chunk missing from the door at the bottom so it could close because the toilet was too big. The shower had a very stained shower curtain and a dead bug hanging from the curtain. The towels were stained and looked unclean. They were crunchy like they weren’t cleaned from the last person there. There was a hole in the door like someone kicked it in. There was no water pressure at all and the “hot” water smelled when it came out. All of the furniture had stains and appeared to be uncleaned for some time. When it came time to check out the clerk took our key and went to check the room. He came back and said that the key (that worked for us all week) was not working and he had to use a different key. When he came back he pinned the bathroom door hole on us saying that the hole was “fresh”. I don’t know how you can tell if it’s fresh but okay. we had to pay 250$ to have the door replaced. He was hostile and uncooperative in our efforts to explain the situation. My husband stayed behind to pay for the door while I took a call. My husband informed me when it was all said and done and said “yeah the guy told me you left because you didn’t want to admit that you broke the door”. That is very unprofessional and an unneeded comment. Me and my husband feel we’ve been taken advantage of by this hotel and we will NOT be staying again. Do not let these people take advantage of you and take you for your money. What should have been a 300$ stay ended up costing us over 600$! Put your money somewhere where you won’t me screwed over

Room smells of cigarettes. A/C had an awful squeak so bad I could not sleep with it on. And I have seen cleaner truck stop bathrooms.

Where should I begin?…arrived late so I had to use the after hours window to check in. Requested a 1st floor room but was declined because my stay was over week. Weird. But ok. 20 min into checking in I went to check out the room and everything is outdated. Damaged walls, refrigerator is what I believe is called an ice chest, so not many items will fit. But the largest issues I have are: The sign posted in the lobby says the hotel is not responsible for items left in your room. So don’t have anything of value. The second issue is the owners don’t allow guest in your room after 830pm til 10am. So if you want a fair stay in this city I recommend going to the dollar tree or inglés parking lot camping out for a night and saving yourself some money. Also Ms. Housekeeper I am not your bro or your bud. I’m a patron at the hotel so I should be addressed in the least as sir.

This place was a headache from the word go. The gentleman at the desk was hard to understand. The rooms were dirty, the staff was rude, housekeeper was confrontational and allowed her kids to be responsible for cleaning the rooms. The 15 year old daughter was very disrespectful, rude, argumentative and a lying trouble maker. The housekeeper who is supposed to clean the rooms had me clean the room in order to change rooms with air since the one we were in did not work. Then tried to say we broke the air as well as took pictures of the walls left gum on the table and childs hairbows in the night stand. When trying to reason with the staff they started yelling and the housekeepers kids tried starting a fight. It was total trash.
