When we pulled up, it looked closed. The parking lot is unkempt. Landscaping rocks and weeds all over the parking lot. The lobby was warm and humid. The woman (owner) was having computer problems because she said it was because of the humidity. The room had a portable air conditioner that worked fine but because of the previous humidity the carpet was gross. The sheets were clean but when I went to use the bathroom, I noticed long hair on the tub side. Looking closer, there was soap scum in the bottom of the tub and soap residue on the ledge where people set soap bars. Obviously, the tub/shower hadn't been cleaned. I looked at the floor and there was a splotch of blood under the sink counter. In the morning I went to the front desk at 7:30 am and there wasn't anyone there yet. I found the housekeeping room, went in and grabbed some cleaner and rags. I went back and cleaned our bathroom myself. The only thing for continental breakfast was cereal, Little Debbie snacks and small prepackaged muffins. They showed a picture of frozen waffles on a freezer, but when I opened it up it was empty. Pool and Hot Tub were both EMPTY even though they advertise them still. Shingles were falling off in the back and there are holes in the stucco. The grass was long and the place was falling apart. Apparently, these owners bought it about 5 years ago. Sad, I heard it was a really nice place a few years back. We spoke to some locals and they said the place is full of black mold that's why it didn't sell for a while. Definitely won't go back.

If there were no stars I would give it that. The rooms are spacious but all they have in the rooms are stand up air conditioners in the rooms. So on the 2nd floor it's extremely hot. I live in the same climate and i can handle it but they need to fix the things that are already there. The air ran on 62 degrees and it was still 80 degrees in our room. The game room has a pool table, air hockey and arcade games but not of them work because there is no power to the room. And thats only if you can stand how hot it is in there. The pool, hot tub and sauna haven't been fixed in years so it sits empty. When you flush a toilet downstairs ther is water that bubbles outside. The shingles on the roof are missing. There is no restaurant on the premises. This place could be a very nice place to stay but owners refuse to put any maintenance into the place.

Old, but cute. Very well kept. I Like that, it's off the lake. They should really update the gym equipment though. Just in case someone wants to use it and add a rack of dumbells. That would have been perfect for me!

The room was comfortable, clean & quiet. Tom and Ann Cebulla have really really pulled Paradise Shores back together. Thank you for all you do and providing such a nice place to stay.

Our room was a King Suite and it was very nice. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy and the environment was quiet. Owners were very nice, very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
