Great location with an exceptional atmosphere. Our room was clean and cozy. All of the staff members were very professional and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were clean and very relaxing. First-class breakfast, too. I don't like eggs, but the biscuits and gravy were out of this world. We will definitely stay again.
For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Grove City, Pennsylvania, the Park Inn by Radisson at 1924 Leesburg Grove City Rd, Grove City, PA 16127, USA, offers a convenient location that often attracts travelers. You can contact them at (724) 870-4003 or +1 724-870-4003. This hotel, operating under the Radisson brand, presents a mixed picture, with some guests reporting positive experiences while others highlight significant concerns, indicating a property that may be in a state of transition or inconsistent maintenance.
The Park Inn by Radisson Grove City boasts a "Great location," primarily due to its close proximity to the highly popular Grove City Premium Outlets. It is situated "right next to" or just a "few minutes away" from the outlets, making it an ideal choice for shoppers. Its position near I-79 (Exit 113) also provides easy access for travelers on major routes, whether heading north or south.
Beyond the immediate shopping draw, the surrounding area offers various dining options within walking distance or a short drive, such as Wendy's, Compadres Mexican Restaurant, Hoss Steakhouse, and others. The hotel is also conveniently located for visitors to Grove City College (approximately 8.2 km away), Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (about 18.7 km away), and local attractions like Keystone Safari and Wendell August Forge. While the hotel offers ease of access to commercial and educational hubs, some recent reviews suggest that the property itself may be showing signs of wear and tear, indicating a need for refreshment in its internal environment.
The Park Inn by Radisson Grove City aims to provide a comfortable stay with a range of standard amenities, although the quality of these services appears to be inconsistent based on recent guest feedback.
Guest Rooms: The hotel has 60 individually decorated guest rooms across two floors. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, an LCD television with premium channels, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee/tea maker. Other amenities include a safe, iron/ironing board, and a desk. Many rooms reportedly feature private balconies. While some older reviews praise rooms as "clean and cozy," more recent feedback indicates issues such as unpleasant odors ("room smelled very bad," "washroom smell"), lack of functioning bathroom fans, and general signs of wear and tear ("washroom door had some kind of glue on it").
Complimentary Breakfast: A "complimentary full breakfast" is served daily, with specific hours (e.g., 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends). Older reviews hailed it as "First-class breakfast," with mentions of delicious items like "biscuits and gravy." However, more recent feedback describes a significant decline in quality, with terms like "dogs breakfast," "sausage was very dry looking like it was two days old," and non-working waffle irons, along with very limited offerings ("honestly 3 slices of bread"). This suggests a noticeable drop in breakfast standards.
Indoor Swimming Pool and Sauna: The hotel features an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna. Earlier reviews described these facilities as "clean and very relaxing." However, a very concerning recent review reported seeing "some cockroaches around the swimming pool," which is a serious cleanliness and hygiene issue that could impact guest safety and comfort.
Fitness Center: A fitness center is available for guests to maintain their workout routines.
Free Wi-Fi: Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided in all guest rooms and public areas, allowing guests to stay connected.
Business Center: A 24-hour business center with computer access is available for business travelers.
24-Hour Front Desk: The hotel operates a 24-hour front desk to assist guests with check-in, check-out, and other inquiries. Staff professionalism is a point of divergence in reviews, with some calling staff "very professional" and others noting issues like front desk agents not being in uniform.
Pet-Friendly Policy: The Park Inn by Radisson Grove City is a pet-friendly hotel, allowing pets (dogs and cats) for an extra charge (typically a non-refundable fee). Service animals are exempt from fees.
Free Parking: Ample free self-parking is available on-site.
Other Amenities: Additional amenities include an arcade/game room, a library, dry cleaning/laundry services, and daily housekeeping. Rooms are equipped with blackout drapes/curtains and are soundproofed for better rest.
The Park Inn by Radisson Grove City's defining characteristic appears to be its current state of inconsistency. While some aspects remain positive, others have significantly deteriorated according to recent reviews. Its key strength is undoubtedly its prime location adjacent to the Grove City Premium Outlets, which draws a considerable number of visitors.
Positive features, according to earlier reviews, included a "great atmosphere," "clean and cozy" rooms, "very professional" and "helpful staff," and a "first-class breakfast." The indoor pool and sauna were also highlights for relaxation. These elements suggest a potential for a good stay when the hotel is operating at its best.
However, more recent and critical reviews point to a property that is "run down" and in need of "TLC and upgrades." The "room smelled very bad," "washroom smell," and non-functional amenities like bathroom fans and waffle irons are serious concerns. The mention of "cockroaches around the swimming pool" is particularly alarming and directly impacts guest safety and hygiene perceptions. The significant decline in breakfast quality also contrasts sharply with previous positive remarks. It is noted that the hotel is "going through the upgrades" and is transitioning from a previous brand (possibly Best Western) to Radisson, which could explain some of the inconsistencies and ongoing issues. However, the severity of some recent complaints suggests that this transition may be accompanied by a period of operational challenges.
As a Park Inn by Radisson, the hotel is part of the Radisson Hotels Americas portfolio and also listed under Choice Hotels International (as PA901). This means guests can participate in loyalty programs such as Radisson Rewards and Choice Privileges, earning points for stays and potentially accessing member-exclusive rates and benefits. The hotel likely promotes its "quaint experience," "sparkling indoor pool and sauna," "free WiFi," and "business center." Its primary marketing leverage would be its "ideal choice" location next to Grove City Premium Outlets and easy access to I-79, targeting both leisure shoppers and business travelers. The hotel also highlights itself as "pet-friendly."
The value proposition, ideally, would be a comfortable and amenity-rich stay at a competitive price point, benefiting from its excellent location. However, the conflicting guest experiences indicate that the actual value delivered can vary. Potential guests should be aware of the positive aspects, particularly the location and the potential for a good stay, but also need to critically evaluate recent reviews to understand the current state of the property, especially regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and service consistency. For some, the prime location and amenities might still be appealing if the price is right, but for others, the reported issues might be a significant deterrent until the property completes its transition and consistently demonstrates improved standards.

Mar 29, 2025 · Domenic SpanoGeneral- Staff was extremely nice and polite - the front desk was accommodating for us even though we had to check in an hr early. Rooms- were clean and tidy- there are a couple rooms w a jacuzzi and view to the pool. It was really cool. Service- everything was great. Location- right next to a gas station across from a mexican restaurant and a BBQ restaurant and a couple minutes from the outlets. One thing I wish was a little better- food during breakfast was ok- I would give 4/5

Apr 29, 2025 · Heather ShiptonGreat location. Across street from Grove City Outlets. Right off 79. Close to several colleges including Slippery Rock U-- worth a quick GPS for the shortcut road to SRU. Literally not even 10min down the road. Best indoor pool and spa around-- nice big area for adults to sit and chat while kids enjoy the big pool. Breakfast with many choices including make your own homemade waffles and bagel bar. We stay here every year for our cheer competition at SRU in the winter for a reason. AND huge snow storm-- several cancellations of the trip and hotel was very accommodating so no one was billed that wasn't actually there. THANK YOU to the great staff and for being so welcoming to the crew that was able to come and very understanding to a few others that weren't able to make the trip! See you again!
