We Checked and left before even bringing our clothes in. We only got that far because we did not want to be rude in front of the owner who seemed very polite at first. Once we went in the room by ourselves we left in approximately 5 minutes. Garbage everywhere all over the front yard, bed bugs, roaches and everything smelled like a wet basement. The “spa” at 93 degrees and he said don’t adjust it. Don’t worry because nobody is getting in the spa. I asked for a refund and he said sorry I held the room for you. We called 2 hours before we got there, nobody else was there or coming there. I hope I can attach the screenshot photos of his response to my texts about a refund. The dirtiest, nastiest more disgusting place ever. Do not ever go here. Mold, snakes, cockroaches and we were only there 5 minutes

May 18, 2025 · Ldog hauptmanLook, if you want luxury, pay more and go somewhere else. If you’re just passing through and need a decent place to sleep, this fits the bill. Was it nice? Well, “nice” is relative. It was nice enough for us. It is certainly outdated and could use a complete makeover, but we don’t need the Ritz. The bed was comfy and clean - contrary to other reviews, there was NO evidence of bedbugs. The room was chilly, but there were more than enough blankets and we slept great. Nice hot shower in the am, then we hit the road. We stayed here for one night between xmas and NY and it was very quiet. There was food out in the am, but we didn’t partake. Cereal, coffee, couple granola bars, etc. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful! Some cool old cars are at the entrance for some ambiance. Not convinced by the “spa” in the name - but there are a couple rooms with new-looking inflatable hottubs. Would we stay again? Yes we would! But not for a romantic getaway weekend.
Dec 28, 2024 · SDTubbs MetalworkAbsolutely horrendous. Do not make a reservation/booking here. I, unfortunately, did not review the multitude of reviews expressing an exceptional level of discontentment among the patrons of this establishment. My fiancé and I called prior to our booking--noting that we were going to check in late--to confirm if the property owner/manager was going to be there for our check-in. He confirmed that he would but when we arrived, he didn't answer his phone or texts. I disputed this through Expedia, and they refunded me. 2 days ago, Expedia charged me again for my initial booking in November. I have timestamped texts and call logs trying to get ahold of this person to no avail. I'm assuming he challenged my claim but on what basis? We did not stay there. This facility should not be in business.
Jan 12, 2025 · Conner McKeanThis was a last minute book as the camping festival we are attending got rained out the first day. This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The decor was cute in that “I’m staying at grandmas house” but that is all the compliments I have for this place. It reeks of mold and mildew, the second you come in the front door. You have call the front desk for someone to check you in, which is done by paper? When we checked in the owner asked if we needed the AC right now. We replied yes as it was horribly humid. He said something about a hose being cracked but he could “fix it real quick”. Our room was so outdated, down to the bedspreads. The smell of mold was so insanely strong that it CONSTANTLY triggered asthma attacks all night. The only time I got relief was to open the back door or go outside in the front, which each time I was either met by the owner asking what I was doing/why I was coughing and congested so much all of a sudden or the “extended stay” customers offering drugs. When I asked the owner about our ac unit as it kept beeping with an error he “claimed he fixed it” but he actually just put it on fan and said it’s all better. Of the 6 hrs we were there I actually checked in (went to dinner, ran errands etc)only spent 1hr tops in that room. We ended up leaving because I honestly felt like I was going to DIE if I stayed any longer. And the owners response to all of this “eh, it’s fixed, I don’t know what you want from me”. I ended up sleeping in my car in a parking lot instead of staying there because I could not for the life of me risk my health for another minute in there.
Aug 10, 2024 · Amber HendersonThreatened our dog. BELEIEVE EVERY ONE STAR REVIEW. We said we would be leaving our dog for a couple hours to go swimming they said they “would have called the cops and had the dog removed if we had left him here. This is not a dog friendly hotel” (even though it’s on findfido.com and everyone had dogs) to which we said “you better call us to remove our dog before the police.” They then hung up and put the phone on do not disturb prompting us to gather our stuff and demand a refund. Ruining our only full day on this get away because we had to wait to check in til 3pm at a new hotel. Which we had no problems! The photo below is the only rules stated.
