We rented the Redwood house and enjoyed our stay. The deck was an awesome place to sit and relax. Eagles, loons, ducks, geese and an array of songbirds entertained us. We were able to watch some of the kids practice for the ski show. Fishing was spotty but we caught enough to eat.

This highlights the personal and caring service that defines a great resort experience. Jul 01, 2024 · Barbara FurlanoTerry made our weekend vacation go so smooth. He was a great host, very friendly and helpful. My kids had great time swimming in the lake, relaxed by the bondfire, ate near the sunset. Our rental place was clean, the lot was big and well maintained. Will definitely be back!
Aug 31, 2018 · Mayra MartinStayed in the Ironwood Trailer. Definitely would not sleep 4 adults. OK for 2 adults and 2 smaller kids. Couldn't pull up close to the trailer to unload or load vehicle. Website did not indicate this, or that you need to bring almost everything from home. There were a few dishes and dish towels supplied but not much else. So be sure to bring paper towels, towels, etc. Not the cleanest place. Lots of cobwebs. Not sure when the last time under the beds were cleaned. Empty paper towel rolls and Kleenex boxes were present, leading one to believe these things were supplied but not filled but actually they were not supplied and the empty ones were not disposed of. There was an added porch to the trailer, which leaked when it rained. No A/C so lots of moisture, which caused the floors to buckle, bathroom door couldn't shut. The windows struggled to stay open. There was a common fire pit for everyone that was only lit when decided so no way to have a small fire for the family. It was right on the water which was a nice factor. It would be an OK place for 2 people who were only there to fish.
Jul 08, 2018 · Laura Storandt-YehleFirst visit was spring 2012 probably last for the rate and quality. The mobile home near the lake was in in poor condition and not worth the rate asked for. We began as four people wanting to stay in the mobile home and the conditions were so poor we were given an additional cabin next door. Two for price of one. If it had not been for that we would have been very dissatisfied. The grounds were probably okay during the 50's or 60's, but are very outdated. We were there to fish so it suited our purpose. The location of the cabin in relation to the dock was great, about 60 feet. The grounds were clean, the fish house was fair. The Willow cabin was clean and beds comfortable. The pull out sofa was terrible. If we could get the same deal as we did last year it would be do able for us. For a family vacation for more than 3 people. No! Would not even consider. The owners are friendly enough, but it appears they might be in a bit over their heads.
Jan 11, 2013 · Gary SchultzI just rented the main cabin on Airbnb for a couple nights. So relaxing, perfect place to stay for the Arctic blast we just enjoyed. Will definitely be coming back again to help support during the off season. Thank you!
