Unfortunately the condition of the home was not to our liking it was extremely dusty and needed better swept, dusted and vacuumed. Dust is caked to the walls, tvs and cords in every room. I tried to dust and vacuum myself to better my stay and I wish I hadn’t at this point because I saw too much to be able to stay there. We also feel the owners are rude and unaccommodating to our needs especially for what we just paid for. It should not have been in that condition I don’t care what anyone says- I didn’t pay over 700 dollars to sleep in Cobb webs.

While many guests praise Reed House for its cleanliness, charm, and convenient location, it's important to note some feedback from past visitors for an objective overview. One review mentioned issues with dust and general cleanliness, suggesting the need for more thorough cleaning. This feedback indicates that while generally rated highly for cleanliness by many, individual experiences may vary. Another practical point highlighted by a guest is the presence of cement steps leading from the car to the house, which some found not to be "very people friendly" or easy to navigate, particularly for those with mobility concerns. It’s worth noting that the property is described as having outdoor steps leading down from the parking area to the home. The minimum age for check-in is 25, and quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Despite these points, the majority of reviews for Reed House are overwhelmingly positive, with guests frequently highlighting its exceptional location, comfort, and the overall charm of the home. Many guests have described it as "cozy," "charming," and "comfortable," feeling "just like being at my grandmother's." The comfortable beds and well-appointed kitchen are often commended. Its dog-friendly policy and the presence of a fenced yard are highly appreciated by pet owners. The house’s proximity to downtown Dillsboro and its many attractions makes it a convenient base for exploring the region. Guests appreciate the ease of walking to shops, restaurants, and the train station, as well as the short drive to other nearby towns and abundant hiking trails.
