Spent 10 minutes checking in, trying to switch from a handicap room to a regular. I had rented the handicap room on purpose. Ended up in the room I booked after 10 minutes of hassle. TV channels where 85% Spanish speaking👎. Staff was accommodating but not friendly. Pool was nice, but not orderly. Toilet paper roll was nearly empty in our room. Mirror was smeared up. Bathroom door by pool didn't close.

The presence of a "heated pool" adds significantly to the recreational environment, offering a welcome amenity for relaxation and fun, though one guest mentioned it was "not orderly." The inclusion of complimentary "breakfast" provides a convenient and money-saving option, eliminating the need for guests to seek outside dining immediately upon waking. Feb 19, 2025 · M PhillipsWhile it's not the newest hotel in the Penn Dutch area, it is consistently updated, well-appointed, always spotlessly clean, and offers exceptional guest service. Plus, it's affordable! It's within walking distance of one of the best authentic buffet restaurants, Dienners , and also close to Dutch Haven with its shoo fly pies. Pro tip: Any hotel along Route 30 can tend to be noisy, as it is a primary trick and tourist route. The Sleep Inn is well off the road but can still pick up some noise. I always ask for a room furthest from the highway if available, but the road I'd really quiet on the after dark hours when traffic is virtually non-existent. A great stay at an affordable price.
Mar 08, 2025 · Steve S (Steve in NEPA)First time staying here with family. Overall it is a great value for what you get vs the cost in comparison to other stays in the area. I would say it is a solid 4.5 but keeping it at a 5 for the simple fact that the breakfast is pretty good with the addition of having eggs and sausage available. The only big con was the internet was non-functional the night we arrived but with a clean room and comfortable beds, the most important things were taken care of. You will see dated, aged, bit of rust here and there but if your staying here, it's for the value and the small things did not matter much. Thanks to the staff for being friendly and loved the lights and tree in the lobby.
Dec 09, 2024 · Colby GuyerMy family and I checked in through a hotels.com reservation. The parking lot was dark as was the lobby. The woman at the front desk was kind. Our first room had a dysfunctional smoke detector that forced us to switch rooms. The second room had the overpowering scent of Lysol upon entering the room. Then, my wife pointed out what appeared to be a streak of dried blood on the bathroom door. I grabbed a quick cloth to wipe it off so to not scare my kids. We then grabbed our stuff and left for another hotel in the area. Hotels.com contacted the hotel. Apparently, a worker commented that “the hotel was offended” that we left. The hotel refused a refund. WE LEFT LESS THAN 30 MINUTES AFTER OUR ARRIVAL. WE DID NOT STAY THE NIGHT. Hotels.com contacted the shift worker on the evening of the 25th when comments were made. On the 26th the manager was called by Hotels.com and a refund was refused. Again, we did NOT stay overnight. As soon as we found the dried red splatter/streak on the door, we went right to our car and left immediately for another hotel in the area. Avoid.
