Ants. Flying ants. Ants crawling on you multiple times a night while you’re in bed. That’s on the fourth floor too. You hang a towel on the towel, hook in the bathroom, and it separates away from the wall about the fall out. Sunday morning, apparently some church group rented out a conference room on the first floor, brought in a PA system, and were BLASTING music around 8:30 in the morning at concert level volume. The doors to the room are wide open on top of it. You can hear the music from out in the parking lot. Absolutely unacceptable. I would be livid if my room was on the first floor. Sketchy men hovering around the hotel late at night on the weekends.

These appear to be isolated incidents based on publicly available reviews, and the hotel generally receives high praise for its service and cleanliness. The hotel maintains a focus on customer satisfaction, with staff often going "above and beyond" to accommodate guests' needs, including dietary requirements at breakfast.

Jun 09, 2025 · Nicholas SendelbachI enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. Breakfast had options, and the breakfast attendant was the best. She went out of her way to accommodate my dietary needs. That is what I call above and beyond customer service.
Apr 21, 2025 · Kay BeeHonestly, I was nervous about staying at this hotel from reading a lot of the recent negative reviews. I think a lot of the problems that people were experiencing were due to the major renovations that this hotel went through. I think many of those issues are no longer a concern, as I did not experience many of the negative things mentioned by others. There were no bad smells in the room, in the hallway, or anywhere else in the hotel. In fact, the room and the hotel all smelled very clean. The room was clean, the bedding was clean, the bathrooms were clean. The headboard of the bed was newly replaced. There were also no issues with water temperature. The warm water was hot in the shower and the cold water was cold in the sinks. The hotel was quiet, which was a nice plus. Only a few things that need attention still exist: 1. Only one elevator of the two seemed to be operational (probably due to renovations). 2. The Fire Alarm system was still not fully functional (due to renovations). 3. The mattresses still need to be replaced with a much higher quality product. The current mattresses are uncomfortable, low quality, cheap. They are similar to the kind you would find in a budget motel. I was glad to be sleeping there only for one night, as it was tolerable but certainly not ideal for getting the best quality rest. So if you are very particular about needing a higher end mattress to sleep on, their beds might not work well for a longer stay. I was satisfied with everything else about the hotel and my room, except for the mattress, which definitely needs improvement. I would stay at this hotel again, but probably not for any longer than one or two nights at the most, unless the mattress was a lot better.
Jan 07, 2025 · J CrowellThe Front desk when we arrived was so nice and professional. Our hotel room was ready way before the scheduled time to check-in. Since I was there to drop my son off for his training the front desk extended us for late check-out. This was so appreciated. Yes the rooms are a little outdated and one elevator was being serviced yet all around it was perfect. I am a Marriott rewards holder so I do try to stay with Marriott and they have not let me down yet. Breakfast is what you expect it was fine.
Feb 05, 2025 · Tammy FishWe have stayed at this location while visiting family for few years. Never had issues until this visit. Like others have suggested, I think this location is grossly understaffed/under resourced. Staff were very helpful making some adjustments to our reservation. But, we had multiple rooms for different family members. In our room, the sheets smelled funky. This was not an issue in other rooms. On Christmas night, the water to the entire hotel shut off around 10p without any warning and was out for several hours. There was a notice on the front door that looked fairly old that the fire protection system (I assume the sprinkler system) was out and to dial 911 if you experience a fire. Many of the movie channels would just go to black screen if you tried to watch that channel. We could never get cold water to come out of the taps. One stairwell you couldn’t go down and actually exit into the hotel. The other had big rolls of carpeting stored at the bottom. One elevator was out of service for the entire week that we stayed resulting in long waits. Lids to the coffee cups were too small to fit. The fourth floor smelled like cigarette smoke. It was just a lot of issues that added up to our conclusion that we won’t be staying at this location on future visits to the area.
