We had the BEST experience with The Embers Hotel during our wedding weekend! All of our friends and family stayed here, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way. They graciously let us store our wedding flowers in their large commercial fridge (a lifesaver), and even allowed us to host a big welcome get-together in their restaurant and bar on Thursday night. Things may have gotten a little rowdy, but they handled it all with such kindness and professionalism. Anytime we needed something, they were on it immediately — truly incredible service. Aside from the amazing hospitality, the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. The food and drinks were delicious, and you truly cannot beat the location — right in the heart of Blowing Rock. Highly, highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. We are so grateful to The Embers for making our wedding weekend even more special! ✨🏔️💛

Jun 16, 2025 · Peyton JohnsonWe loved our stay at The Embers in Blowing Rock! We were here for an extended weekend, enjoying the Boone/Blowing Rock area as part of a broader trip to North Carolina. The hotel was welcoming from the moment we arrived, the staff was awesome at every step. I can recommend the downtown balcony view, you get some mountain (foothill? Either way 😂) with it as well! Would stay again!
Jun 09, 2025 · Chris KahlerGreat location in downtown blowing rock. The room was comfortable for the most part. We had to pull the door closed behind us or it wouldn’t click shut and the bathroom door is sliding but doesn’t close all the way so it felt like no privacy. Be warned if your room is located at the end or corner the WiFi basically doesn’t work, we complained about it but nothing was really done to resolve the issue. Also the closet door is a slider and will bang against the wall if you don’t close it very slowly. So beware if you have to work from your room because you might be out of luck. We’ve stayed at multiple places in downtown and have never had this issue. The lobby area is nice with a bar/restaurant. They do have mocktails but those are new on the menu and they were just okay. They do give you a parking pass to hang up in your vehicle. Overall it was nice but a little over priced. The staff was nice and we were able to get what we needed from the trip.
Jun 07, 2025 · Christina MayesWill definitely return to The Embers. Room was very well laid out, great use of space, wonderful amenities, great linens and towels, beautiful decor. Breakfast was delicious - corn beef hash and avocado toast! Restaurant has a beautiful fireplace which opens to the other side on an outdoor space with heaters if needed. Staff is tops! Front desk staff was knowledgeable and efficient. Matt who works for the hotel was most friendly and greeted my wife and I as we’re were leaving hotel to shop downtown Blowing Rock. Offered suggestions and knew the area well. We enjoyed talking to him. Great ambassador for the hotel.
Mar 01, 2025 · Mark CheekFirst time at The Embers. Location is perfect. Beautiful town. Easy walk to downtown. Room was pretty and clean. Balcony was spacious and had a view of mountains and Main St. Breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again.
