From start to finish our experience planning our wedding with Bedford Village Inn was fantastic. Olivia S. went above and beyond from our initial venue tour to our wedding day. She was professional, personable, and extremely detail oriented. My husband and I would describe The Grand at BVI as 'New Hampshire chic'. The decor and details throughout the entire hotel are thoughtful touches to remind you you're in NH without feeling too woodsy. Overall, we could not recommend BVI enough and if you're lucky enough to work with Olivia, consider yourself blessed!

Apr 14, 2025 · Natalia NaroThis was our romantic “before Christmas annual getaway weekend” choice for this year. Great ambience. Every nook and cranny was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely need at least two nights to enjoy it. We had a nook suite with a fireplace and I seriously considered not leaving the room. The 3 restaurants had great ambience although the cork wine bar was reserved for a private event which was just unfortunate timing. Note - the bar at the Fiondi was closed by 10 when we returned from dinner in the Dining Rooms. We did breakfast in our room both days - excellent Saturday had some issues with it on Sunday. The tablet is great for ordering.
Dec 15, 2024 · RebeccaStayed here for 2 nights at a total rate of $400/night. I was offered champagne upon check-in (very nice, but I don't drink), and someone came by with cookies and water not long after - nice touch! There was also a coffee station outside my door this morning. But that may be due to my room being near the elevator Unfortunately, things went a bit downhill from there. The room is very spacious, and the bathroom is expansive, and I like that the shower is separate from the large bathtub. However, the water pressure from the rainfal showerhead was very low and there is no lighting in that section The view was ok, just a hill and a treeline, with the fire pit below - and it was a treat to catch a hawk feeding outside this afternoon The walls are not as thick as you'd like, so I could hear the TV and muted conversation from my neighbors, and good thing traffic in the hallway was light because that's very audible too I didn't want to risk checking a bag, so I couldn't bring a razor with me on carryon. To my dismay, the front desk wanted to charge $5 for a shaving kit. I find it quite distateful to be charged for little things like this that are largely universally complimentary... it's one disposable razor! Since it's winter, and the pool and hot tub are outdoors, the hotel doesn't really offer anything in the way of amenities for me. I bet the old property was really special, but this new thing was a letdown for me. The restaurant - not the one in the hotel, the main one - is still great, and I'm looking forward to the company party we have in a private room there every winter - but despite the convenience, I can't justify staying here at the hotel again
Dec 06, 2024 · Daniel LothropI went to a baby shower there. The food was delicious and the room for the function was nice.
May 17, 2025 · Marleen PaquetteFabulous room! Very comfortable and really lux! Front desk was satisfactory. For this level property, need to up their game. Overall, the service was good. Ann in housekeeping was outstanding! She helped us get into our room, provided us with fresh bottled water and cookies! We didn't see her the rest of the weekend but was great! The Tavern is a swing and miss! Food is mediocre. Service at the bar is terrible. Consider retraining your bar staff in professional and courteous service.
