This was a very clean hotel. The staff were friendly. The location couldn't be better as it was right off the harbor and next to shopping. The Beacon restaurant and bar in the hotel were wonderful. Pool and hot tub was open until midnight (adults only). That was icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

We did not eat in the restaurant in the hotel, so I cannot speak to that amenity. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is perfect, as there are multiple cute shops just down the way, and a nice coffee shop to visit. The people in the town were welcoming, and I loved being close to the harbor while being surrounded by historic architecture of this small town. The price for the night was great; if you sign up for their newsletter, you can often find great deals through that. Recommend!
May 20, 2025 · Elizabeth GrahamAccessible room notes! We brought our dog with us and were allocated the ADA room which was actually perfect as I am recovering from ankle surgery. However - if anyone had a more significant disability or was anticipating wheelchair access to the shower this was not available. There is a low step in shower but with no grab rails or bench should anyone have balance or mobility limitations. In addition the shower door is a full glass door so a carer would not be able to help unless they were to get wet whilst doing so. There are no grab rails or a raise for the toilet either so if you anticipate needing those this would not be sufficient for your needs. The room was clean and well stocked and perfect for the pair of us with our dog. We were on the ground floor street side and were very aware of traffic noises throughout the night. That said, the location is perfect as it is within easy walking distance of both the town and harbor and a lovely waterside park where we could easily take the dog for bathroom breaks as needed late at night and early morning. We are very grateful to have been able to bring our dog with us and to have him so easily accommodated although this incurred an additional $75 charge which is a bit steep. The breakfast was sufficient with a lovely view from the dining area. All staff were courteous and helpful. We would come again but aim for a waterside room to reduce night time noise.

Unfortunately, the pull out couch was the lumpiest pull out couch I have ever slept on. I know not to expect much from those, but mine was next level worn out. The walls were paper thin. Both nights I was woken up by two individuals coming back to the hotel at bar close having a quiet conversation outside my door. The insulation is just that bad. I could hear my upstairs neighbor throwing up in his/her bathroom. The toilet paper they provide is in the form of napkins. That was the most bizarre thing of all. I would probably come back despite all these strange things, but I definitely had higher expectations.

My son forgot his soft toy in the room, it turned out on the way home, because each of us was sure that we packed the animal in a backpack. I called the hotel reception and told about the situation. I don't know who specifically talked to me, who was looking for and who sent the little capybara to our house, but I'm very grateful to everyone, the parcel with the toy was delivered by mail in a few days. No one remained indifferent. It says a lot about the excellent service.
