Apr 22, 2025 · Julie TurnerSuch a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this historic gem. We were in town to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and were excited to see that this hotel was opened. When we entered it was everything we were hoping for. The entry and mezzanine area are what I’d expect from the early days. The owners have done a great job with the rooms. Very comfortable, very nice staff, and what a treat to get to hear Solomon play the piano every evening. Also very convenient to the nightlife and restaurants that seem to be making a comeback in Griffin as well. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great experience.
Mar 23, 2025 · Tonia SheppardThis place is absolutely GORGEOUS! We were taken on a tour of this hotel with Nathan Corley, and the rooms were immaculate! The feel and vibes of this place were so inviting and warm, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant and charming place to stay, nestled in the City of Griffin. The customer service was outstanding, and the layout of everything from the coffee bar, to the bar with nice wines, to a very nice exercise room! If you are looking for a “home away from home,” in this area, this is your spot! This place also offers a beautiful ballroom for events! I can’t wait to book a night here to experience the quiet and luxury of this hotel! The customer service was 5+ stars! Several nice restaurants around, as well!
May 07, 2025 · Lauren PayneThe finest of Southern charm and hospitality. What a wonderful experience! This once hidden gem has been restored to its former glory. You can tell this project was a labor of love. We truly enjoyed and will definitely be returning. Shannon was an absolute delight! So was Solomon, and he played the grand piano in the lobby, beautifully like a pro. Why would you stay in a boring chain hotel when you can experience a piece of history? Looking forward to our next stay in this grand hotel!
Jan 07, 2025 · Jennifer GentryI recently hosted a meeting in town and used The Historic Griffin Hotel as the preferred lodging. In our business we commonly use large global brand hotels however for this meeting I wanted the hotel stay to be a unique and memorable experience. My teammates loved their clean rooms, the beautiful lobby and outdoor gathering area, and the close walking distance to many downtown restaurants and activities. I highly recommend this hotel as a fun and convenient home base for any business related events.
