I am usually writing good reviews due to our excellent travel karma, but this time we hit a snag. First, the front desk and restaurant does get five stars, the staff here is amazing, very accommodating and professional. But the overall hotel, motel, suites, resort, gets a two star at best. The room clearly has not been remodeled since the mid 70s, as you can see by my pictures, there is a drop ceiling in our deluxe suite with the most unforgiving fluorescent lights mounted in the ceiling. There is wood paneling all around, the carpeting is at least 30 years old and the entire room smells like cigarette smoke, even though it was non-smoking. Clearly the smoke smell is in the old drop ceiling tiles the carpet and anything else that will absorb the smell. For a resort, it smelled like the old roadside motels of the 70s. 4 of the 5 lamps I turned on I had to jiggle the lightbulb and jiggle the switch to get them to work. Our children are grown, but if you take a look at the picture of the stove, all the push buttons for all the burners easily reachable by a toddler, right on the front. As you can see even the blinds did not work. The WiFi is included but is as slow as it gets. The only thing positive I can say about the room is that the windows did open so that we could receive some fresh air from the smoke infested room. This room was $270 for the night, I would still be giving it a two star if it was $89! As far as staying here, you make your own decision and suffer the consequences.

We enjoyed a long weekend in one of the lakefront cabins, and enjoyed everything! Fun beach bar scene with live music, delicious food in both the bar and the restaurant. Cabin has everything you need and nothing you don't. Service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!!

My husband and I. Along with our 2 teenage daughters had a wonderful time. Great location to activities around NH. My husband loved the fact he walked out the room to dock and to his boat for a morning of fishing. Everything you need right there, staff are so friendly. We decided to stay an extra night and they made it happen. Love the pups that greet you at check in. I guess anywhere that alongs dogs and ducks can't be so bad. Overall wonderful time. Looking forward to next time. Side note. They do not have a boat launch on site. Have to go up the road about 10mins then drive boat back.

I've been going to the lake for 24 yrs many times staying at the Naswa. I love the place . Things have started to slip over the past two yrs , regarding the blue bistro. Last yr they started to minimize portions during breakfast and served some weird home fries they had colors blue red it tasted the same but the appearance wasn't appetizing. Well this yr we returned and had breakfast three of us . It cost 73.00 Ok inflation I get it but when I left there starving nah not cool. Even our waitress said gee these are small portions coming out of the kitchen I will talk to them about it. Anyway we love it there we miss the host that was there forever and always remembered us , I'm not sure but it feels like the end of a great era . Don't not go here just don't set expectations to high on food and portions. Location and facility it doesn't get much better.
