Let’s start with management. Paul is absolutely amazing. Not sure who was managing the tourist previously but Paul has been there for the last few months we’ve been staying with them. He truly cares about this place and puts his heart into it. He’s also genuinely a kind person and will work with you, which is something you will NOT find in most of these other roadside motels. There is a deposit but as long as you don’t smoke in your room, you’ll get it back the day you check out. Pretty simple stuff. I’m not sure what people are expecting for a $55 per night roadside motel along the pike just outside of Atlantic City but you’re not gonna get the Ritz Carlton. It’s clean and the beds are comfy. Yes, some of the rooms could definitely use a revamp, but they’re working on it slowly but surely. If you’re scared of a little bug here or there, you won’t survive here. Or any of the other motels along this stretch of the pike. Unlike most of the other ones, this place no longer has carpets which is MUCH more sanitary. If you have a problem with anything at all, Paul will work with you quickly to fix it or clear it up. Kindness, respect, and honesty go far with this man. There’s no maid service but the cleaners are there every day and will happily supply you with everything you need. Yes, there are some of us who stay long term here however there is a 21 day rule where you have to check out for 24 hours and then you can return again. Most of us are respectful and nice, and since were locals, can provide you with all of the hot spots, gossip, and cheap local eats your heart desires. Try to keep in mind we aren’t here because we want to be, we’re here because we’re down on our luck and are trying to get back on our feet and go back to a normal life. It can happen to literally anyone, just the way it happened to us unexpectedly. In the few months I’ve been here I have yet to see any “drug deals” in the parking lot or anywhere for that matter so I’m assuming since Paul has taken over, he’s cleaned the place up greatly. The location is amazing, pretty much everything you need within walking distance. And the 554 and 504 bus are literally right outside the doorstep and will take you straight into the city or the pville station. For $55 per night you really cannot get any better than this place. Management is great and caring, it’s in a great place geographically, the beds are clean and comfy, and the parking lot is brightly lit at night so you’re not gonna get robbed (which is a genuine issue along this stretch) the rooms may not be in the best looking shape but you won’t leave with bed bugs either so there’s that. If you find anything better than the tourist for $55 per night, let me know. Because I sincerely don’t believe it exists.

Tourist Inn Introduce

For local users and travelers exploring options within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, the Tourist Inn, located at 208 E White Horse Pike, Galloway, NJ 08205, USA, presents itself as a highly budget-conscious choice in the Atlantic City area. This detailed introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the hotel, encompassing its environment, the services it provides, its distinctive features, and any relevant promotional information, all based on publicly available data and insights from real customer reviews.

The "Hotels Near Of Me" platform category is invaluable for individuals seeking immediate and geographically convenient lodging options. Whether for a short-term visit to the Atlantic City casinos and boardwalk, a business trip, or an extended stay due to various circumstances, this category helps users quickly identify suitable accommodations. The Tourist Inn's strategic location on the East White Horse Pike (US-30) in Galloway positions it advantageously. It offers straightforward access to Atlantic City, which is a short drive away, while also providing proximity to essential local amenities and public transportation, making it a practical choice for diverse travelers.

The environment of the Tourist Inn is characteristic of a roadside motel situated on a major thoroughfare. The East White Horse Pike is a busy road, featuring a mix of commercial establishments and access points to residential areas. While not a luxury resort, the hotel's appeal lies in its practicality and accessibility. Guests can expect a straightforward setting with ample, brightly lit parking, a crucial feature for safety in such locations. The hotel's location offers remarkable convenience, with "pretty much everything you need within walking distance," including access to the 554 and 504 bus lines directly outside the doorstep, providing direct routes into Atlantic City or the Pleasantville (Pville) station. This public transport access is a significant advantage for guests without private vehicles. While some areas along this stretch of road might present certain challenges, customer reviews suggest that the Tourist Inn, under its current management, actively works to maintain a secure and clean environment, aiming to mitigate common roadside motel issues. The shift from carpets to more sanitary flooring in rooms is a testament to efforts to improve the overall environment.

The services offered at the Tourist Inn are tailored to provide essential support for budget-conscious travelers, including those on extended stays. A key highlight is the commendable management, specifically Paul, who is consistently praised for his dedication, kindness, and willingness to "work with you quickly to fix it or clear it up." This hands-on and empathetic management style is a significant service differentiator for the motel. While there is no daily maid service, cleaners are on-site daily and "will happily supply you with everything you need," from fresh linens to toiletries, upon request. This flexible approach can be beneficial for guests who prefer more privacy or who are staying for longer durations. Free Wi-Fi access is available to all guests, an essential amenity for staying connected. A deposit is required upon check-in, but reviews confirm it is refundable on the day of check-out, provided there is no smoking in the room, which is a clear and simple policy. While the office hours for check-in/out may not be 24/7, the described "easy and simple" check-in process and the accommodating nature of the front desk staff suggest that guests' needs are met efficiently during operational hours. For long-term guests, the hotel has a "21-day rule" requiring a 24-hour check-out before returning, a common practice to comply with lodging regulations.

In terms of features, the guest rooms at the Tourist Inn prioritize cleanliness and basic comfort within a budget framework. A consistent theme in reviews is that the "beds are clean and comfy," and importantly, guests "won’t leave with bed bugs either," which is a significant reassurance for a budget motel. The absence of carpets in rooms is highlighted as a positive for hygiene. While some rooms "could definitely use a revamp" and feature older furnishings, the management is actively working on upgrades "slowly but surely," with some furnishings already updated. Each room typically includes a private bathroom, and guests can expect amenities such as air conditioning, and a television. The overall emphasis is on providing a functional and clean sleeping environment, rather than extensive luxury. The brightly lit parking lot is a practical safety feature, addressing a "genuine issue along this stretch" of road. The hotel accommodates long-term stays, and a significant portion of its clientele includes locals who are "down on our luck and are trying to get back on our feet," contributing to a unique community aspect, as mentioned by one reviewer. This provides a different social environment compared to typical tourist-oriented hotels, with friendly long-term residents often willing to share local tips.

For users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me" platforms, the Tourist Inn's most compelling draw is its exceptionally affordable price point, reportedly around "$55 per night." This positions it as one of the most budget-friendly options in the Atlantic City area. While specific, formal promotional campaigns are not extensively detailed, the low nightly rate itself acts as a strong, continuous promotion. The value proposition is further enhanced by the free Wi-Fi, free parking, and the accommodating nature of the management. Direct booking by calling the hotel at (609) 652-0928 or +1 609-652-0928 would be the most direct way to inquire about current rates and availability. Given its price point, the Tourist Inn is ideal for travelers who prioritize extreme affordability and a clean, safe place to sleep over extensive amenities or luxury. The positive feedback on management, cleanliness, and location convenience significantly outweighs concerns about dated decor or the occasional minor bug, making it a genuinely viable option for those seeking the best value in the area.

Check in was easy and simple. Rooms have definitely been maintained. Some furnishing updated, some on the upgrade list. Beds were clean and comfy. As far as service.. young lady at the desk was very nice and inviting but office is only open certain hours of the day. Not bad. I was comfortable:)

First off Roaches! They got into out food. The front desk is super rude. Because I booked a stay over online they had me leave from 11am until 3pm just to give me the exact same room. The window curtains are so thin you can see in and out. The lamps do not work and are in disarray. The sink has no doors. The outlet by the AC where the lamp plugs in looks like it was caught on fire, people run around all night stomping so loud that you can’t sleep and people randomly knock on your door all night. You can even see through the door crack… Absolutely would not stay again.

Rooms don't seem to even get swept out with a broom. Tub was so dirty we refused to take showers. And even though I selected eta for my check in and it was website approved the staff was rude about giving me my room keys she kept repeating check in time is 3pm. Word to the wise if you can find anywhere else available for you and or your family to stay don't pick this place.
