Oct 06, 2024 · Chris RidenourOur recent stay at The Trimmer house couldn’t have been better. The home is well-appointed, charming, comfortable, and spotless. This B&B is perfectly located for a nice dinner in Penn Yan, scenic trip around Keuka Lake or a hike. The lake provides the perfect backdrop for charming towns, wineries and restaurants. Best of all were the innkeepers, Mary and Vic whose hospitality and recommendations elevated our stay in the area. We sat on the large front porch each evening to relax and wind down. It felt like a step back in time watching the Amish buggies go by. Last but surely not least were the bountiful and delicious breakfasts that were served each morning. They were outstanding and provided something for everyone – sweet and savory creations with vegan options! We would highly recommend this B&B! Mary Lou and Jim Arrow
Aug 27, 2024 · Jim ArrowWe had a wonderful stay. The bed and breakfast is lovely, super clean and comfortable. Old world charm with modern amenities. Our gourmet breakfasts were outstanding! The location is perfect. It's an easy walk to town for very nice restaurants. It's also a beautiful drive to some great wineries. Mary Pat and Vic were warm and friendly. We loved sitting on the porch watching the world go by. On our last morning, Vic sang and played guitar while we had our breakfast. We enjoyed our conversations, too. We certainly hope to return. It was a fun trip!
