This place was beautiful! It had a creek running behind our campsite. Only downfall was that we were bombarded with calls and voicemails from the lady at the front about our dog. We had just lost our other dog the past week and we decided to go camping to get away and relax. We chose a great place, don’t get me wrong, but if you plan on bringing pets, just know they’re not as pet friendly as they say. You can’t allow dogs and not expect them to do dog things. The owner told us that our dog was howling all day long. We have an indoor camera that we have in our camper to check on our dogs previously, so we checked it and he was howling for like 5 minutes after we left and nothing the rest of the day. I apologized to the neighbors and explained he was maybe lonely from losing his pal this past week and I was sorry. All the neighbors were very friendly and understanding. I’m just not sure what the lady up front had going on. unrelated to our stay but important to the fact that they aren’t pet friendly… a dog wandered into our campsite. I went around for an hour to each campsite seeing if someone lost a dog, I wound up at the front and the same woman had told me she had seen him before and he was a stray and to let him go… as hesitant as I was, I figured she was a good person to trust about the area… about twenty minutes later we were approached by the neighbor that lives in the subdivision beside the campground. They didn’t have great things to say about the one who ran the front or the owner, whoever she was… we had a fine stay, it was beautiful. But if you have a dog that does dog things, don’t stay here.

May 12, 2024 · Katelyn ArmstrongWe had the very best time on our little family getaway. The cabin we chose has everything that you could possibly need to have a great time. From the indoor pool to the hotel with amazing views to the theater. Absolutely perfect. Very clean. The air conditioning on the middle floor need some maintenance so it was a little warmer than what it should've been. Still overall a great time.
