We had a great time in Blowing Rock. Really nice location. All kinds of mountain weather, snow, rain, fog so dense you couldn't really see the road. The cottage was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly as well. Would stay again.

Our room was clean, along with the bathroom. Had a deck with two chairs. It was quiet. The town of Blowing Rock is a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Looking to stay again, soon.

We got two rooms for the weekend. One room had no heat. They were given space heaters which brought the temperature up from 45 to 55. Not able to have a 4 year old stay in that environment. The manager refused to talk with them or give a refund. They had to cut their trip short because of it. Let me point out that the wind chill was 5 degrees. Such uncaring unfeeling people. Never again will I stay there. They get a 0 rating from me!!!

Imagine you come to blowing rock to support local business and see the lighting of the trees, and you find out after a 3 hour drive that the room you booked has no heat. What’s worse? THEY SOLD ME THE ROOM KNOWING IT HAD NO HEAT. This business should be avoided at all costs. The manager did nothing to help. The desk person said they cannot call the manager. Like they have no direct way to communicate with their manager, only through email. Avoid at all costs!

The room has no heat! What type of business knowing sells rooms (for over $250 a night, this isn’t the motel 6) with no heat! Then offer electric heaters to to make it better when it’s below freezing outside. Then when I request a refund, they won’t. Please don’t stay here. There is a reason their rating so low. The room is disgustingly dirty too. My son has allergies, how can he sleep in this room?
