We stayed for one night in April and had very high expectations in part due to the cost and some of the reviews. The room was updated and we had a beautiful view. The only room issues were that there was no hair dryer which we did eventually receive with the help of an excellent house keeping supervisor. Also, the water in the shower took 10-15 minutes to warm up and then only was warm but not very hot. There was a bucket for ice in the room but no ice machine in the building. We were told that ice is delivered which could take 20 minutes or so. We went to the front desk to get ice. It would be more convenient to have an ice machine in the building. In addition, there were no towels in the towel cabinet by the swimming pool even though we asked twice that they send towels there. Individual staff people were outstanding. The overall organization and some infrastructure (e.g. hot water in shower) and ice machines on site would improve the overall experience. Breakfast was very good and the serving staff were excellent.

Despite the high standards, some guest feedback indicates areas for potential improvement in operational consistency and infrastructure. Apr 20, 2025 · Joel SkolnickImpromptu trip with my sister and dog allowed us to discover this gem. From check in, which included freshly baked cookies, to check out we felt like royalty. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The season starts mid April and this has lots of amenities to enjoy. Definitely will be returning ☺️
Mar 19, 2025 · Elaine VozarikWent for NYE party and from first impression beautiful property. Greeted pleasantly by chef when we didn't have directions clearly. That was very sweet. Upon arrival to the event, the door and host staff were professional and courteous. Beautifully decorated event and property, nice dessert display , coffee/tea, appetizer, and bar selections . Nice band and great crowd . Attentive staff all night !
Jan 02, 2025 · Karen SweeneyMy husband and I visited Wequassat in August 2024, and I’m still surprised that it considers itself a five-star establishment. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the beautifully maintained landscaping and excited for our stay. Our goal was to celebrate my birthday, relax, and unwind by the pool. However, after our first visit to the pool area, it became clear that wouldn’t be happening. “Disgusting” would be a generous way to describe its condition. When we addressed our concerns one of the excuses was that it was late in the season, regardless of it being late in the season, the price we paid did not match the quality of the property. The service at Outer Bar and Libaytion was disappointing, waiting over 15 minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleared from our bar seat and to be greeted and over 45 minutes and multiple attempts to receive the soup we ordered. I will say that Twenty-Eight Atlantic exceeded our expectations with outstanding food and impeccable service. I sure hope they improve the maintenance as the potential of the property is endless. I hope to be back in the future.
Mar 17, 2025 · Emilee BazziSpectacular. Excellent service. The property is listed as world-renowned excellence. It is quintessential New England in its feel. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The food is delicious and the bar and restaurant atmosphere are as good as you will find anywhere.
