Stayed in the Bespoke Queen room and absolutely loved the fireplace and jacuzzi tub- SO relaxing and peaceful for our winter stay. Room had a mini fridge too that wasn’t mentioned! Microwave & water available in common room. No breakfast, but they responded quickly to a maintenance need we had. Modern decor while preserving the history and old features of the house at the same time. Great location within walking distance to the small Main Street with coffee shops, pizza, beer, bowling, etc. , near Taughannock Falls Overlook, and only about a 20 minute drive to Ithaca with lots to do. Beautiful area even in the winter!

The hotel ensures guests have essential amenities for a comfortable stay, including a communal common room with a microwave and water dispenser. Although breakfast is not explicitly listed as a standard offering, the availability of in-room coffee and tea (featuring premium Commeteer Coffee and Rishi Tea) and the proximity to local coffee shops on Main Street provide convenient alternatives. Housekeeping services are available upon request, and guests have noted the excellent job done by the staff in maintaining the "beautiful" and "spotless" rooms. The emphasis on individual attention and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere contributes significantly to the overall positive guest experience.

Feb 18, 2025 · Hannah Bequeath2nd visit, each time I've stayed in room #2 with the extraordinary steam bath bathroom down the hall. It happened that I left my door unlocked with the key inside. I called and Jes, the owner, arrived in a nanosecond to let me in.
Apr 18, 2025 · Bill ColemanBooked a room here as a stopover while visiting the area. I would definitely return. The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored and it’s clear that the owners thought about every detail. Check in was seamless and all the amenities were spelled out in the instructions. LOVED the record player in the library, as well as the honor bar. I stayed in Room 3, which was absolutely lovely. I enjoyed the fireplace, the jetted tub, and the heated floor. I think I may have been the only guest that night, and didn’t mind it at all. My stay was peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious. The outdoor fountain was even visited by a young doe while I was there. Perfect and quaint. Of note, check out what’s in the area in advance, as not all of the restaurants are open seven days per week. But that didn’t pose an issue for me at all.
Oct 03, 2024 · Norman WashingtonMy partner and I stayed two nights at 16 Elm for a little fall getaway and we absolutely loved it! From the outside of the hotel, the landscaped grounds, the inviting common spaces, and our perfect cozy room- everything was decorated and outfitted to perfection. The building is renovated beautifully but has the perfect vintage detailing and decor. As you enter the foyer there's a table with details of surrounding businesses and activities to partake in and a grand staircase leading up to the rooms. There's also a room with a complimentary bar and record player which was so fun to partake in during the evening. The living room space had a cozy fireplace with luxury sofas to relax in and it was neat to see guests actually utilizing these spaces. We stayed in the Junior Suite- it was elegant, cozy and spacious. I really enjoyed having the gas fireplace to turn on whenever we wanted- such a cozy luxury! We truly loved everything about our stay!
Oct 28, 2024 · Katherine SkopowskiLovely property with comfortable, well-appointed rooms. The bathroom in our suite was wonderful. We enjoyed playing records in the bar/library downstairs and perusing the books. Two-block walk to our favorite restaurant in the area. We'll be back!
