Jul 13, 2024 · Maddy DeVeuveMy wife and I had a wonderful week at the Restful Ewe. This is the old school kind of B&B with the feel of a friendly home that’s been opened up to guests. In this case also a small working farm in a peaceful, pastoral setting. Nancy's breakfast got us started for exploring the Fingerlakes region every morning. Such a beautiful home and property, and such lovely people.
Jul 28, 2024 · John DunkelbergMy sister and I needed somewhere to stay for our visit to our grandfather’s as their house was just too crowded. Nancy and Dave were awesome. The Restful Ewe was immaculate, cozy, and felt like it was straight out of a movie. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and with lots of tasty options (she thoughtfully asked if either of us had any allergies beforehand). I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much!
Jul 29, 2024 · Kimberly BothwellThis is a real quality location. Hosts Nancy & David truly make their visitors feel like they are family. This beautiful farm house is most restful and meticulously restored by master carpenter David. The breakfast is superb with coffee, fruit, and tasty homemade scones by the ever gracious Nancy. Further her directions through downtown Ithaca during a busy sport weekend was better than any GPS.
Oct 19, 2023 · James CoulthartSuperb. Nancy and Dave have crafted a perfectly serene environment at The Restful Ewe. The farmhouse has been thoroughly and thoughtfully restored (right down to the period-appropriate cut nails in the bathroom threshold) and is decorated in a wonderfully calming palette. Fresh scones, glorious fruit, and an occasional distant "baa" from the flock made for a delightful breakfast experience. Nancy and Dave were gracious hosts. We hope to visit again soon.
