We just returned from our stay at the Rowland’s house and it was FANTASTIC! Upon arrival were kindly greeted by Renee who was the sweetest. Our room was extremely clean with a beautiful lake view. Dinner at the 1833 restaurant at the Inn was spectacular and our server Ben went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a nice getaway look no further. Can’t wait to return and hopefully have our wedding there in the near future.

Jan 28, 2021 · Christina MarcheneseBeautiful historical renovated homes overlooking the lake. Great for weddings and social gatherings with large or small groups. Fantastic service and food. Cute town to explore including wineries in the area. The location is upstate New York, so Mountain View’s and Lake Views while traveling to the location. If traveling from the New York, Long Island Area, it is quite a drive, especially when there is construction. If no construction, 6 hour drive, if construction, could be up to 8 hours or more. If not in a hurry, enjoy the beautiful scenery and take your time, it’s a real nice drive, but worth it. Because once you get there, you will have a wonderful, extremely comfortable stay. The Houses (Hotels) have an individual that will take care of all your needs once there. You will cherish the memories Forever. We went for my wife’s sister’s daughter’s wedding. The wedding itself was held outside on the Lake Shore, in Late Summer/Early Fall. The breeze from the Lake kept it cool enough to be comfortable. After the wedding, the reception was held a couple of building away. The reception was outside as well. You will never forget the fantastic time spent there. Definitely worth the time.
Oct 04, 2019 · Chuck BrosdalIt is beautifully scenic lodging on the lake. It is a historic house that is part of the Aurora Inn. Awesomely lush interior each room providing unique decor. Very comfortable. A quiet place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake. There are many amenities within walking distance. A smaller village but with alot of charm.
Sep 18, 2018 · Brad JonesRowland House is one of the homes that make up the Inns of Aurora, located in the quaint town of Aurora, on the east side of Cayuga Lake. Each home is unique, due to its location, architecture, and decor. For us, Rowland House was perfect, located on the shore with a delightful wrap around porch. The mornings always started with a cup on the deck, late afternoons with a glass, and after dinner was spent in the boathouse to get the best sunset pics. Once the sun went down it was over to the fireplace to make s'mores! Emily, our innkeeper/concierge was super helpful, always available setting up breakfast, wine & cheese, or the makings for s'mores. Plus outdoor games (cornhole, jenga) & bocci were always available. The room was spacious, the sheets/bed divine. No complaints. Super relaxing place to chill 😎 & use as a springboard to visit the Finger Lakes region.
Jul 16, 2022 · Madelyn HaussnerIt was ok. My room was paid for by the bride's father as being part of the bridal party. The walls were thin, and there's no where in that place to eat except if you go to the main inn 5 minutes down the road and dine in. Aso upon checkin you have to give your credit card in case there are incidentals, no big deal. Except the fee they take out is $480 and it was out for 5 days. If I wasn't in the wedding I wouldn't have stayed here.
