Highly recommended place to go if you need to unwind. I am from NYC and was looking for a weekend getaway with my partner. Before I even arrived, Brittany texted me to let me know my room was ready and if there was anything I needed. Upon arrival, she gave us a wonderful tour and assisted us with anything we needed throughout our entire stay. Brittany was also great with recommendations on different things to do as it was our first time at the village. The rooms are very nice, have a chic style to them but also combined with modernization. I do wish they were slightly larger but everything was very clean and organized. The actual inn is super unique and just pleasing to walk through. Waking up to having a coffee by the lake was the peace and quiet I did not think I needed, but will definitely be back for more. My overall first time experience was great. Was it a bit pricey? Yes it was. Did I have a good time and relaxed? Also yes. I think for the value of everything, its worth checking out and seeing something new and generally not common to come across such a great village. The only thing I really hoped for was more food options. The food at the local bar/grill and the 1833 are very good. We just simply found ourselves going to the same places because the options are so limited. Maybe future business owners will create other cuisine options.
