Filled with Bed bugs scam artist Property managers and never followed their own policies yet expected us as tenant to be down the T. This place had bed bugs so bad and had the exterminator there every week. The toilets are indescribable and disturbing. This is very close to what you call a poorly ran asylum. The company sucks and doesn’t care about its tenants. Jay was even saying how the company is messed up. He’s no longer there due to the company realizing he cared too much. Zero stars. No guests and charges the most of most rooming houses. $185 a week for bed bugs dirty bathrooms dirty kitchens and a poorly ventilated room. This disgusts me

Aaron Rooms Introduce

For individuals searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Manchester, New Hampshire, and encountering "Aaron Rooms," it is imperative to understand that this establishment operates fundamentally as a rooming house offering long-term weekly rentals, rather than a traditional short-term hotel. Located at 455 Pine St, Manchester, NH 03104, USA, Aaron Rooms caters to a specific demographic seeking affordable, extended accommodation. However, based on available public information, prospective tenants should be aware of significant concerns highlighted in recent tenant reviews regarding the living environment and management practices.

Environment and Location

Aaron Rooms is situated on Pine Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. Pine Street is a relatively central thoroughfare in the city, suggesting proximity to various urban amenities. Depending on the specific block, it could offer access to local shops, public transportation, and potentially be within walking distance or a short bus ride to downtown Manchester. Downtown Manchester features various employment opportunities, dining establishments, and cultural attractions such as the Currier Museum of Art, the Palace Theatre, and the SNHU Arena. However, the immediate environment of a rooming house, particularly one with the issues described in reviews, may differ significantly from the general appeal of the broader city center. While the physical address places it in a well-established area, the internal living environment is the primary concern for potential occupants.

Services and Features (as reported by tenants)

As a rooming house, Aaron Rooms provides individual rooms for rent, primarily on a weekly basis, rather than offering the comprehensive services typically found in a hotel. The concept is centered around providing a basic living space for extended periods. According to tenant reviews, the property features shared facilities, specifically bathrooms and kitchens. The descriptions of these shared spaces are concerning, with reviews stating the "toilets are indescribable and disturbing" and general mentions of "dirty bathrooms" and "dirty kitchens." This suggests a lack of consistent professional cleaning or maintenance of communal areas.

Key features and services, as relayed by current and former tenants, include:

  • Individual Rooms: Tenants rent individual rooms, which are described as having "poorly ventilated" conditions.
  • Shared Facilities: Access to shared bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Limited Cooking Amenities: The kitchens reportedly lack a stove, limiting cooking options to only a microwave and air fryer. This significantly restricts the ability for tenants to prepare full meals.
  • No Visitors Policy: A strict policy prohibiting visitors is in place, which can lead to "crazy lonely" conditions for tenants, particularly for those with partners or family residing out of state.
  • No Therapy or Service Dogs: The establishment reportedly does not allow therapy or service dogs, which is a significant barrier for individuals who rely on these animals for support and well-being. This policy, if true, raises concerns about accessibility and compliance with relevant regulations for service animals.
  • Management: While some tenants praise specific individuals like "Jack and Patty" for being "great" and helpful in answering questions and fixing issues, other reviews criticize the overall "company" for being "messed up" and not caring about its tenants. The departure of a manager who "cared too much" also suggests internal issues with management priorities.

The absence of a dedicated phone number on some platforms or the difficulty in reaching management, combined with the issues raised in reviews, points to a potentially challenging environment for tenants seeking responsive support. The primary "service" offered seems to be the provision of a room, with communal areas suffering from inadequate upkeep and restrictive tenant policies impacting quality of life.

Concerns and Promotional Information (Based on Reviews)

The most critical aspect for potential tenants to consider when looking at Aaron Rooms under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category are the pervasive negative reports. These reviews paint a stark picture of the living conditions, which are far removed from what one would expect from even a budget hotel, let alone a comfortable long-term rental.

  • Bed Bug Infestation: Multiple reviews explicitly mention severe bed bug problems, with exterminators reportedly visiting "every week." This indicates a persistent and deeply distressing issue for tenants.
  • Unsanitary Conditions: Descriptions of "indescribable and disturbing" toilets and general "dirty bathrooms" and "dirty kitchens" point to a severe lack of cleanliness and hygiene in shared spaces. This raises health and safety concerns for residents.
  • Overpricing for Conditions: Tenants report paying "$185 a week for bed bugs dirty bathrooms dirty kitchens and a poorly ventilated room." This perceived high cost relative to the poor living conditions is a major point of dissatisfaction.
  • Restrictive Policies: The "no visitors" policy and the prohibition of therapy or service dogs are significant deterrents for many, impacting tenants' mental health and ability to live comfortably.
  • Management Issues: While individual staff members may be helpful, the overarching sentiment is that "the company sucks and doesn’t care about its tenants," suggesting systemic issues in property management and tenant welfare. The comparison to a "poorly ran asylum" is a stark indicator of extreme dissatisfaction.

From a "promotional" standpoint, any marketing for Aaron Rooms would likely focus on its weekly rental model and potentially its location. However, objective reporting of public information requires highlighting the severe detractions mentioned by current and former tenants. For individuals searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with the expectation of a clean, safe, and comfortable short-term stay, Aaron Rooms does not align with those expectations based on the provided reviews. Instead, it appears to be a basic, potentially challenging, long-term rooming house option.

Given the significant concerns raised by multiple independent reviews regarding hygiene, pest control, and restrictive policies, Aaron Rooms is presented here as a property primarily for long-term weekly rentals. Prospective tenants seeking such arrangements should conduct thorough due diligence, including in-person visits and discussions with current residents, to assess the living conditions firsthand. The provided phone number for inquiries is (603) 668-8709 or +1 603-668-8709.

The best thing about this place is the building managers Jack and Patty are great they help answer a ton of questions I throw at them Jack fixes whatever you need fixed. I have a few issues. 1. This place needs a hired cleaner because the way these showers look you know it’s unsanitary and you should expect foot fungus if you live here 2. There’s no stove so you can only use a microwave and air fryer. 3. you can’t have visitors and as a woman who has a boyfriend that lives out of state it gets crazy lonely.4. They don’t allow therapy or service dogs which is crazy and makes it harder to hold your head up.

Affordable and kosher for people who respect themselves. No bedbugs and a awesome location. The office is great. They really do try to make the best out of it. I lived there for 6 months. Love 455 Pine

I tried renting a room here, and I believe that the building manager, knowing that I was sharing an apartment with someone in a different building she manages, refused to forward my application. This person that I was sharing an apartment with used to work for a day labor company, and now we both make over $13 an hour working full time, 40 hours EVERY week, guaranteed, which is probably more than anyone in this place is earning
