My sister, niece and I stayed at the Admiral Dewey in February. We loved everything about the Inn! We were made to feel at home and found the room to be very comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. The view of Block Island from the third floor was an added bonus! We spent time relaxing in the living room of the Inn before going out to enjoy The Pub and the Ocean Mist, which are both right down the road from the Inn. Expect great food, service and fun (including live music) at both places. Matunuck has a very relaxed, fun vibe, and staying at the Admiral Dewey just adds to the experience. We can't wait to go back!

Mar 12, 2024 · Judy O'KeefeBeautiful inn. My friend and I stayed for the 4th of July and it was perfect. The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfortable. I love the fact that each room has its own air conditioner. The shared bathroom was also exceptionally clean. We didn’t get the chance to try it, but they do offer breakfast in the morning which is very nice! As for the location, that may the best part. It’s right next to a nice little market that has everything you’d need and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It’s also less than a mile from Theater by the Sea and the Ocean Mist! The woman at the front desk, whose name I believe was Carol, was so friendly and made us feel instantly welcomed. This Inn will be a yearly tradition for years to come!
Jul 05, 2024 · marissa masseCozy bed and breakfast, very hospitable staff, beautiful home, historic building, clean and quiet. Would definitely come here again!
Dec 29, 2024 · Angela HIt was fabulous in that it was built in 1898 and filled with antiques. It was unfortunately 3 stories high with all steps. All of the rooms were quaint and luxurious. No TVs at all so bring a book. I'm sure the breeze in through the window was awesome but it was raining. There were snacks around but breakfast was mediocre. Short walk to the beach. It was very well decorated.
Oct 03, 2022 · Ellen Mertz YoesronWe absolutely loved this place! A huge bonus that that the beach was a short waking distance from here. This place gives that feel at home while away feel. Only things I have to mention is that they offered free breakfast, but honestly it's a hit or miss little snack. Also, they are hard to get a hold of on the phone. Overall this place is on my permanent list of places to stay at when we travel north!
