I’m so sad to say this was the WORST experience I’ve ever had checking in to any hotel I’ve ever been to. At first everything was normal, my sister and I gave all the information needed to check in and the man seemed okay. Once my boyfriend came in from the car everything went left, fast too. As soon as the man at the front desk who I was later told is management seen an African American young male his whole demeanor changed. He waited until we began walking to our room to follow us and tell us that we needed to pay $100 cash deposit for the room. We asked why, and how come he didn’t mention that earlier when we called the hotel asking if there were any refundable or nonrefundable deposits or even when we were checking in and he had no answer. The man then began insisting we give him the $100 cash now or we leave the property. He proceeded to turn off our room key to make sure it did not work before we even got to get to the room door. My little sister had to use the bathroom badly being that we just finished a 2 hour drive but the man would not even allow her to use the bathroom. He continued yelling, being disrespectful, rude and just so unprofessional about this cash deposit he insisted on getting. When I asked if I can just be refunded for the property instead he yelled at me to get out and began taking off his sweater and grabbing his arms as if he was hinting that he was going to get violent next. NONE of it made logical sense and I was so astonished because I felt like he only reacted this way because he seen an African American male with long dreads. The man definitely seemed racist to me, and the craziest part about it was how fast he switched his personalities on us. Still three days later I have not received any refund, he’s been arguing with Expedia that I was the problem and he will not give me none of my money in return. Keep in mind I had to find another hotel at 10:30pm at night after driving two hours to reach this one and then spend on another hotel. I just felt uncomfortable staying here after the way my family and I was wrongfully treated. I hope this man gets what he deserves honestly.

Aire Hotel North Beach Introduce

For individuals searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the Aire Hotel North Beach, situated at 133 Carteret Ave, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751, USA, may appear as an option. As with any accommodation choice, it's crucial for prospective guests to have a comprehensive and objective understanding of what the hotel offers, along with experiences reported by previous customers. This introduction aims to provide such an overview, based on publicly available information, including reviews from real customers.

The environment of Aire Hotel North Beach is positioned to be convenient for visitors to Seaside Heights. Its location on Carteret Avenue places it in reasonable proximity to the primary attractions of the area, notably the beach and the famous Seaside Heights Boardwalk. Guests would likely find themselves within walking distance or a short drive of the sand, surf, various amusement piers like Casino Pier, and the numerous dining and entertainment venues that characterize this popular Jersey Shore destination. A seasonal outdoor pool is also mentioned in some listings, which, when operational, can provide a recreational amenity for guests. However, it is essential to consider the actual condition and availability of such features based on guest feedback, which sometimes points to discrepancies between advertised amenities and their real-world status. For instance, one review explicitly mentions a pool that "was supposed to be open" but was not, indicating potential issues with facility maintenance or seasonal readiness. The general aesthetic and upkeep of the property's common areas and exterior would likely align with that of a typical budget-friendly motel in a popular shore town, focusing on providing basic comforts and accessibility to attractions.

Regarding services, Aire Hotel North Beach, like many hotels in its category, would generally be expected to offer standard amenities such as a front desk for check-in and check-out procedures, and basic room provisions. Given its location and the nature of the "Hotels Near Of Me" search, one would anticipate services that cater to tourists and beach-goers, potentially including assistance with local information. However, the available customer reviews present a stark and concerning picture regarding the actual delivery of services, particularly in the realm of customer interaction and financial transparency. One detailed review describes an egregious check-in experience, where, after initial normal interactions, the demeanor of a staff member (identified as management) allegedly changed dramatically upon the arrival of an African American male. The review claims that an unannounced $100 cash deposit was demanded, which was not mentioned during prior phone calls or the initial check-in process. When questioned, the manager reportedly became "disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional," turning off the room key and refusing bathroom access. The reviewer also alleged that the manager hinted at violence and subsequently refused a refund, even arguing with Expedia about the situation. This account suggests severe deficiencies in customer service, professionalism, and adherence to transparent deposit policies. Another review corroborates issues with false advertising on booking platforms and a "non-refundable" policy that prevents internal resolution of issues, leading to a feeling of being "ripped off." These narratives indicate a significant disconnect between expected service standards and actual guest experiences, raising serious red flags about the hotel's operational integrity and customer care approach.

The features of the rooms at Aire Hotel North Beach would typically include essential elements for a short stay. This generally encompasses standard bedroom furniture, a private bathroom, air conditioning, and possibly a television. Given the budget-friendly nature suggested by the reviews, one might expect functional rather than luxurious furnishings. However, direct information about specific room features (e.g., presence of refrigerators, microwaves, Wi-Fi details, bedding configurations) is not explicitly provided in the given text. It is crucial to note that one review specifically mentions that "many things in the room need replacing," implying potential issues with the condition and maintenance of in-room amenities. The complaint regarding a non-functional or unavailable pool, despite its advertisement, also suggests that advertised features may not always be reliably present or in good working order. Therefore, while a hotel in this category would generally list features like free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and possibly a mini-fridge, prospective guests should exercise caution and seek up-to-date information directly from the hotel or through very recent, verified reviews to ascertain the current state and availability of these features. The serious nature of the customer complaints overshadows any potential positive aspects of the physical features.

From a promotional standpoint, Aire Hotel North Beach, like any establishment listed under "Hotels Near Of Me," would likely promote its location as its primary selling point, emphasizing its proximity to the beach and boardwalk. It would also likely highlight any competitive pricing to attract budget-conscious travelers. However, the promotional effectiveness of Aire Hotel North Beach is severely undermined by the highly negative and concerning customer reviews available. The allegations of false advertising on platforms like Expedia, coupled with a rigid non-refundable policy that reportedly prevents resolution of guest issues, contradict any positive promotional messaging. The explicit accusations of discriminatory behavior and unprofessional conduct by management, as detailed in one review, would be profoundly detrimental to any attempts to attract new customers. Such serious claims, if widespread, would significantly tarnish the hotel's reputation and deter potential guests from booking. The promotional materials or listings might advertise an outdoor pool, but if the pool is frequently out of service as reported, this becomes a source of dissatisfaction rather than a draw. In essence, while the hotel may attempt to promote itself on location and price, the overwhelming negative feedback regarding service, transparency, and alleged discrimination would likely lead many searching on "Hotels Near Of Me" to consider alternative accommodations. The severe nature of the complaints, including reported financial disputes and distressing customer interactions, suggests that prospective guests should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate recent reviews before making a reservation at Aire Hotel North Beach.

This hotel and its management is subpar. They falsely advertise on Expedia and other reservation outlets. They are also non-refundable and are not willing to resolve matters internally and would rather rip you off. PS: check out their pool that was supposed to be open for our stay… this is the pool that was supposed to be open, and when I said I’d like to get a refund, they said no sorry, it’s non-refundable. Complete rip off…

For the price and location walking distance to the board walk, it was well worth the stay on a budget. I always wipe down my rooms with Lysol wipes it was pretty clean. It’s an older hotel it looks like they are fixing up as they can. The hotel owner I believe greeted us at check in was a very nice gentleman. He was even cleaning the hallways and helping all the guest. He heard that we were there for my boyfriend‘s birthday and he got us a cake for free. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. This hotel was very clean but older, but the staff made us feel so welcome and the hospitality was amazing, if you’re looking for a place that’s comfortable when it comes to a budget close to the boardwalk and beach and has a pool. This is your place. It is not a five star hotel by any means, but in all the places I have stayed they rank in the top five with hospitality and cleanliness. Keep in mind it is an older hotel and looks like they are making upgrades as they can.

We had a good experience. The pool was nice, location was nice, the only downsides were limited soap and wash cloths. We didn’t receive room service even though we only stayed two nights which could be a possible reason to that. The staff was respectful. My only suggestions to people staying here are to bring wash clothes, maybe extra towels , and soap or make sure to ask for them if you know you’re going to need them. Otherwise it’s a good location from the boardwalk and includes parking with your stay.
