I’ve never written a review about any hotel ever but the horrid service in this hotel left me no option. The outrageously high prices did not match the quality of the stay. The staff would get angry and scoff at you if you asked for anything that might have caused them a minor inconvenience(like asking for a refill of your water glass) even though we paid a great deal of money to be there- It felt like you were walking on egg shells the entire time. The bartenders would take forever to come and take your order, regardless of how long they saw you waiting there in the burning hot sun, they just didn’t seem to care, they knew we had no other options. The beach chairs were disgusting and poorly maintained. No one serviced you on the beach for majority of the stay. The same trash that was left on the beach tables one day would remain there for the following couple of days. The rooms were falsely advertised and poorly kept, almost falling apart. The hotel itself wasn’t kept well either. Our bed sheets were never changed, we had to beg for new towels + the bed looked like It was made by a 9 year old every day we returned from the beach. Trash was visible everywhere; especially inside of the pools. I could make this review a lot longer but I hope they invest some finances in getting the staff a proper attitude check. shout out to Tyrese, Javon, and the wonderful woman at the omelette station Marci every morning. They were the only delightful additions to the otherwise outright rude and discarding staff. If you wanna get treated poorly, stay at the sea breeze beach house
Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel, located at 1502 Boulevard, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751, USA, positions itself within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, aiming to serve individuals and families searching for convenient lodging options in this popular Jersey Shore destination. For direct inquiries, the hotel provides phone numbers: (732) 830-0032 and mobile +1 732-830-0032. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview, integrating publicly available information with detailed customer feedback to offer a comprehensive understanding for potential guests.
Environment and Location:
The hotel's primary advantage is its prime location on Boulevard in Seaside Heights. This is a central and highly active thoroughfare in the town, placing Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel in immediate proximity to the well-known Seaside Heights Boardwalk and the expansive beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. This means that guests can easily access the sand, surf, amusement piers, various dining establishments, and the vibrant nightlife that Seaside Heights is famous for, often within a short walking distance. Seaside Heights is a quintessential summer destination, characterized by a lively atmosphere, especially during peak season. The surrounding area comprises a mix of other hotels, motels, vacation rentals, souvenir shops, and diverse eateries, contributing to a bustling urban beach environment. While the convenient access to attractions is a significant draw, prospective guests should be mindful that a central location in a popular beach town often comes with associated noise levels and crowds, particularly in the warmer months. The designation "Beach Hotel" underscores its direct link to coastal activities and its appeal to those prioritizing seaside enjoyment.
Services and Features:
Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel, within the "Hotels Near Of Me" framework, is expected to offer a standard set of amenities for a beachside accommodation. However, insights from customer reviews provide a more nuanced picture of these services and features:
Staff and Customer Service (as reported by guests):
The most consistent and critical feedback from real customers pertains to the hotel's staff and the quality of service. Reviews frequently use strong terms such as "horrid service," "outright rude," and "discarding staff." Specific negative interactions highlighted include:
It is important to acknowledge that despite the overwhelming negative feedback, specific staff members received praise. Tyrese, Javon, and Marci (at the omelette station) were singled out as "the only delightful additions" to the staff, indicating that positive interactions are possible with certain individuals.
Discrepancy Between Advertising and Reality (as reported by guests):
A significant theme in the customer reviews is the perceived disparity between the hotel's online presentation and its actual condition. Reviewers explicitly describe the hotel as a "catfish," implying that pictures, while potentially accurate for the exterior, do not reflect the true state of the interior rooms and facilities. Comments like "the pictures are way nicer than what you will see" and the suggestion to "Just drive down main until you see a trap house, you can't miss it!" underscore a substantial gap between advertised quality and guest experience. The rooms are described as "falsely advertised and poorly kept, almost falling apart."
Promotional Information and Recommendations for Local Users:
For local users utilizing the "Hotels Near Of Me" search, Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel's primary promotional strength is its highly desirable location in Seaside Heights, offering direct and immediate access to the boardwalk and beach. This proximity is a critical factor for many visitors to the area.
However, it is absolutely essential for prospective guests to carefully consider the extensive and consistent negative feedback from previous customers before making a booking. While the location is a significant convenience, the reported deficiencies in room quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and particularly customer service, are substantial. The mention of "outrageously high prices" that "did not match the quality of the stay" also suggests that the perceived value might be extremely low for some guests.
When evaluating Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel, local users are strongly advised to:
In conclusion, while Hotel Sea Breeze - Beach Hotel offers an undeniably convenient location for those wishing to immerse themselves in the vibrancy of Seaside Heights, the comprehensive and severe negative feedback from previous guests regarding its facilities, cleanliness, and staff service necessitates extreme caution. Prospective guests should weigh the locational advantage against these significant reported drawbacks to determine if this accommodation aligns with their expectations for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Dec 29, 2024 · sarah llogoniEver hear of a catfish? If not, that's when a person presents themselves in one way with pictures or what not, then when you meet them in real life, it's a whole other story. This is basically the Hotel version of that. Let's break it down. Positives: 1. Super close to the board walk. .... That's it for the positives Are the pictures shown here of the actual hotel? The outside ones are, but just know the pictures are way nicer than what you will see. Just drive down main until you see a trap house, you can't miss it! The room itself was the worse hotel room I've ever seen and I've traveled a lot. Here are some key points 1. From inside the room with the door shut, you could still see into the hallway on the top, bottom, and even the sides of the door 2. The bed frames were random twin frames you might find at a refugee camp that were zip tied and taped together. I sat on one and immediately fell through as one if the zip ties gave way. 3. Not one single thing was clean. There was crud on the walls, sand on the floor, tub was gross.... you get the picture. 4. Doorstop for the bathroom door? Drywall screw half screwed into the door molding. 5. Drop celing in the room. That alone isn't terrible, but maybe get some celing tiles without a bunch of water damage though 6. There actually was a pool out back. I got near it and told my kids no way 7. Ice machine was fun! I was given a disposable solo cup and had to take the front cover off and reach my hand inside the machine. There's a CVS in walking distance the ladies there were very apologetic when I told them where my family was. They began giving suggestions on where else we could go. Do yourself a favor if you don't believe me, call the local places and mention this hotels name.
Aug 14, 2022 · Ryan BrakeI booked a hotel room for 6, and they gave me a room for 4 people. They tried to get me to stay in a room that was still under construction, and I refused so they took me to another room. If only I had known that the room under construction was the better option. They provided no towels, no toilet paper and no soap. I paid 600$ for 2 nights and I had to sleep on a sofa bed. The room had definitely never been cleaned, my socks were black just from walking from the bed to the bathroom. The hotel staff was rude and inconsiderate, and asked me to pay a 300$ deposit without a receipt. Moral of the story, everything about this place sucked and I cannot believe I spent my money there.
May 27, 2019 · Kelly BrownOkay, I'll be 100% honest. The room is kind of eh. There is no secondary lock for the door (a chain or upper bolt), and the door handle is perfect height for our 2 year old to grab and get out without anyone noticing. Luckily, she's shown no interest in doing so. The bathroom is very dated, with barely lukewarm shower water. Our TV is broken, no big deal because we didn't come here to watch TV, and they gave us free beach tags instead. The wood stairs leading up the three floors to our room are definitely rotting, which has me nervous. but for $60 a night, I'm okay with all of this. We are only here for one night, and this will do.
Aug 04, 2016 · Tina MalcolmThis place is a dump they make the rooms look nice but the place is a hole in the wall.we checked in at the seabreeze and I thought it was a joke. The entrance door door looked like it was broke number 1. We get into the room and they say 2 beds and a pull out sofa, pull out sofa looks like a 1900 sofa and they give you a sheet. There was 2 towels no floor towel, no soap in the bathroom and yes no toilet paper. They had another door with the pull out sofa and a dresser up next to it that had no hinges for the door to lock. We called the lady at the front desk she said we can give you toilet paper. I said are you freaking kidding me this is not what we seen on the internet page for the room. She says looks can be deceiving because those pictures are when they opened. I said thats horrible. I would of rather slept in my car then the dump of the hotel. Try he front desk lady ended up giving us room at the econolodge side of a hotel si ce the owner owned 2. Turned out to be much better and cleaner. Never again would I stay here the front check in n desk had a portable ac unit on the desk of check in and the breakfast that's served in the morning was in the check in area. Like who does that cheap people that just dont give a shot. Never again would I stay here even if you paid me. DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP. Unless you wanna go the cheapest route EVER.
