Stayed here in February 2024 and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. Even wrote a great review. Came back December 2024 and completely different story. The room was a dump. Stained dirty carpet. Sink and tub so old the porcelain was worn off and you couldn't tell if it was dirt or metal. There was a large brown fabric recliner that looked like it had been dragged in from the curb. The bad was both soft and lumpy. It was a completely horrible experience. When I checked out and tried to tell the young lady at the front desk about my concerns she was too busy looking at the computer screen to even make eye contact. Never again for me and I strongly suggest looking for other accommodations on your visit

Dec 06, 2024 · Lee Ann CarterI hope my comment help to those who visit this place, first of all the customer service was very good but in regards to the cleanliness of the rooms they were very bad, the room they gave me on Saturday was full of a red liquid that in my opinion was blood, I went to ask for a room transfer and the other one had an unpleasant smell, the truth is I could not even rest completely well, the hotel has a good location near the Downton or for people who travel for work and want to get a moment to rest like I did, the bad weather conditions forced me to stay in Sparta
Feb 13, 2025 · Josue ReyesThe staff is great, extremely helpful and lovely. The location is very close to downtown so it is convenient to everything there is in Sparta. My room was clean and comfortable but the motel obviously from a different time and in need of a bottom up refresh. That can definitely recommend staying here when visiting.
Nov 02, 2024 · Stephen LawsonStayed when hurricane Helene hit and had no power or water while visiting friends. Called desperate for a hot shower and girl who answered phone was so pleasant( think her name was Destiny?) Room was nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet. Room had a microwave & cold frig w freezer. They were also kind enough to let our 2 friends take hot showers for the few days we stayed which was SO appreciated!
